The Gardener....they have the audacity to advertise on the radio and on the web. Giving the impression that they are a reliable and reputable service.
what a crock!
24 hour service (yeah right)
Service from first snow fall to April 1st (yeah right)
Hand shoveling to front door available (double yeah right)
New radio dispatched vehicles (what a joke!)
They don't show for up to 2 days after a heavy snowfall. You never actually speak with a person (just leave a message and someone NEVER calls you back).
They've got the standard message on their voicemail saying that they're busy and they'll get to ALL of their customers.
I paid these people to plow my drive-way and shovel my walkway, yet the sun would melt it faster than they could show.
Hand-shovelling??....I twisted my ankle trying to get from my front door to my car. Thankfully I was holding onto the railing. I missed a step...why? Because they never showed-up to clean the stairs and I was calf-deep in snow.
After that incident, I kept a shovel outside my front-door, so that I plowed my own way to the walkway and cleared a path so that I could reverse my car out the garage.
I'd say they owe me $$ for doing it myself.
I learned my lesson....I won't be needing their services this winter.
I don't need the stress, thank you very much.
If I'm going to drop dead from a heart attack, I'd rather go with a shovel in my hand.
