I purchased a home with vermiculite insulation containing asbestos and wanted to have it removed. I researched the process and various companies on the internet and got quotes from 6 of them. Templar was the lowest quote and were able to complete the job sooner and much more quickly than the other companies that I contacted. The job was completed quickly and as quoted. Robert provided great customer service. I would definitely recommend Templar to others. Good experience!

We needed a quick job of mould removal in our attic as the home was just sold, and Templar came through on short notice. Job was done professionally and the staff took great care to ensure no mess was left behind. Well priced and the new homeowner is very happy with the job as well.

We had a good experience with Robert from Templar Mould / Asbestos. We booked a visit in order to collect samples from various old construction materials in the house. Since we were planning renovations shortly after we'd moved into the house, time was a sensitive matter. Robert was punctual and efficient. He provided good professional advice. Good communication and follow-up after the results turned out negative.

I needed some mould and asbestos removed. Got estimates from a number of other providers and Templar was the lowest. They made a number of extra visits due to various complications. There was only a slight increase in quoted price, due to finding asbestos in another location. The service was prompt and professional and even with the increase, the price was lower than competitors.

We had an asbestos scare during a basement renovation. Turns out it was negative (thankfully), but we needed to know quickly. Robert was great. He provided a lot of info over the phone and tried to get the test done as quickly as possible which was important because we have kids in the house. I had called a couple of other places as well and the price was fair.

Warren's service was excellent! He was on-time and finished the job of removing asbestos from the pipe in the basement very professionally and efficiently. I called Templar based on a friend's recommendation. Our initial contact was with Robert, who came for a visit to the house, walked through with us and confirm that we had asbestos. He set up an appointment within days - which was key since we were on a tight schedule. Warren did the removal. Before he began, he explained the process and answered all our questions. Mould removal and remediation is a tricky and nasty problem. We knew we had an issue after having had our basement tested. We were told we had a huge spore count. I searched around on Homestars and found Templar.

From the moment I dealt with Robert Timm, I felt that I was dealing with an honest professional who knew exactly what he was doing. He came to my downtown Toronto house and thoroughly inspected the premises. His analysis of the problem and the solution was spot on. He also communicated with a rare degree of honesty and patiently explained to me the process involved with mould removal and remediation. When his 2-man team of Warren and Dale arrived within 2 days, I was thrilled, because I was under an extreme deadline due to upcoming travel. Warren and Dale again were outstanding at explaining exactly what they were doing and keeping me apprised of their work at every stage. I could not have asked for a more professional yet friendly presence in my home.

The job was impeccably performed. All of the mould was disposed of and carted away in a safe manner that only a properly trained mould removal company can do. The cuts into the drywall and the removal of my basement flooring were performed with precision and respect of the premises. When more mould was discovered in the basement, Robert was very reasonable in his calculation of the extra cost. After the mould was removed, he brought in an industrial strength dehumidifier and left it in the basement along with other equipment in order to restore the quality of the air in the basement. Before he left and after he was paid, he agreed to cart away some extra materials that I had in my backyard.

I cannot recommend Robert Timm and his team of Warren and Dale too highly. They were extraordinary professionals who demonstrated stellar competency and compassion. I recommend them without reservation!
