Toronto Roofing came to our rescue when we noticed our flat top roof had began to leak. We were at a loss as what to do. Neither my husband nor I knew anything about tar and gravel roofs. Terry took the time out of his busy schedule to sit down with us and explain the pros and cons of such a roof and how this new product would produce less weight. He showed us samples and explained the process of how it all gets put together to keep the water out and away from the inside of the house. We were very impressed with his knowledge and experience that we decided to go with Toronto Roofing. They take pride in their work and what impressed me the most is that each day they took the time to clean everything up and left no evidence that they had been hard at work all day. Thanks again Terry. You guys took the stress out of a stressful situation.

A crew came at 8:00am and left at 16:00pm, they just did not finish the work real fast and good, they also had cleaned up to perfection.

We had our roof completely replaced with Toronto’s Roofing & Contracting Inc. in June 2011. I had researched and called numerous contractors. I have to say, I was hesitant regarding all the 10 star ratings for Terry Butler’s company, Toronto Roofing & Contracting Inc. I spoke to several contractors and obtained numerous quotes. What I loved about Terry was how quickly he returned my calls; he was very friendly, honest and had extensive knowledge and experience. Some contractors didn’t even bother to call me back; others did a “drive-by” estimate, one was just plain sarcastic and egotistical. Our time is very important to us and we had one contractor who never showed up, despite us taking time off work! Terry arrived for our quote on time and accompanied my husband on the roof (as we requested). He explained what needed to be done and pointed out areas that other contractors did not, including the need for an extra vent, etc. No matter how insignificant or numerous our inquiries were, Terry answered them all with patience and professionalism. He explained the entire procedure to me, as I wanted to know the steps involved, from beginning to end. I had several quotes and it was very clear that we would choose Terry. Terrry’s crew was punctual, they were very friendly, and didn’t even mind when my husband went up on the roof a few times to see how they were doing. They cleaned our front and back yard and did a fantastic job. Later that evening, Terry stopped by for payment and to check on any inquiries we had. My husband forgot to take pictures of the roof after it was completed, and it was not a problem for Terry to get his ladder out and accompany my husband up on the roof. We chatted easily for well over an hour. When a neighbour asked for a quote in the middle of our conversation, Terry was very polite in letting him know he would be right over, as soon as he finished with us! We are very satisfied with our roof, it looks amazing! We’re so glad we made the right choice and we were raving about the great service the next day at work. Another neighbour had also requested a quote as his crew were replacing our roof, earlier in the day. I would not hesitate to recommend Terry and we’re still bragging about our fantastic looking roof, and the wonderful service we received. We plan to move in the next few months or so, and if we need repairs or a replacement roof on our new home, we will definitely call Terry. Do all the research you need, but it will be clear you’ll choose Terry in the end!

I did alot of research on different companies and found this company to have the Best Price, they answered all my questions in a very professtional manner, very polite and efficient. They came on the date they said they would and completed the job in one day made very little noise and cleaned up everything before they left.

Terry arrived on time, inspected the job in a thorough manner, provided expert and honest advice and provided a detailed and reasonable written estimate. When the weather turned sour, he made a point of calling to assure me that I was not forgotten and that the job would proceed at the first opportunity. He called to arrange a convenient time for the work; the crew turned up as advertised, worked diligently, and the job turned out very well. What I particularly liked was Terry's frank and honest approach, his willingness to communicate with the customer to explain the work, make adjustments according to the client's requests and put customer service first and foremost. I needed someone trustworthy to reshingle my mom's rental property since wee wouldn't be able to be there for much, if any, of the time. Terry went by the home in Ajax. The tenant said he was very thorough. He then gave me a detailed quote via email and answered any questions I had quickly. He even dropped off colour samples to my home in Toronto. After I decided to go with Toronto's Roofing and Contracting, Terry was able to start in just a day or two. Tenant said the roof looked great and the team was great. I had Terry provide a quote to reshingle our family room extension. The quote included installing ice and weather shield underneath the shingle, something I would encourage for a little bit extra. Terry met me the same day I called him - on time as well. I showed him the job and he provided me with a written quote and a business card - something every contractor should be doing. I called Terry to confirm we wanted him to do the job. He called me back the next day and said he would be in a couple of days later. As expected he kept his promise and I arrived home to find the only evidence they had been there the sign on the front lawn. They left no mess at all. Terry took no money up front and we squared up a few days later. Considering there are many cowboys out there that bad name the industry, Terry and his crew could not be further from them. Would highly recommend this company.

Terry came to give me a quote on the same day I phoned him...It was the best quote as I had phoned a couple of other companies and was not too happy with their quotes. I am extremely impressed with Terry and his team's work as they were fast, efficient, did a great job and left the surrondings of my house very clean. I strongly recommend his company to my friends and family.
