Excellent monitoring as well as excellent customer service. Always receive call when alarm trigger. Technician did awesome job. Trained me very well after finish the job. absolutely no complaint. Like to recommend everyone.

We had home monitoring system for long period of time with another carrier. Staff from SecurTek dealer repeatedly called our home soliciting their service. We agreed to switch our service on month to month basis as it was with the previous carrier since there was no need to install any additional equipment. The technician brought a pre-filled duplicate service agreement. I signed the form with the understanding of month to month service. When the technician gave me the duplicate copy I found that box 36 months is checked. Immediately I pointed it out to the technician. The technician called the office manager who confirmed that they agreed month to month service. I also talked to the office manager who told me that I can correct my copy myself. We bought a new house after 22 months and had to terminate the service. They sent me an invoice charging penalty for 14 months. I trusted them in good faith but they tricked me with modified agreement. Earlier the service was not working properly, which they told me, due to low battery. They told me I have to take out the battery myself and go to their office to get the replacement. It was not easy task to take out the battery from the monitoring system and it was never done. Few other times the system was not working but we never got calls from the monitoring station to inform us about it. Customer service is terrible. Staff is very rude. Service is not reliable.

Securtek stinks. Their customer service is poor and they give you run around. Find another company to monitor your home. The keep calling to do alarm test. When I return the calls they say they need a password, which btw we never had when we set it up. So today I tell them I'll try it when I get home from work they agree. I call the guy says needs password, I tell him don't have it. He says well it's usually your account number (which I left my recent bill in the office). This has been going on for 6 months, couldn't they just have told me that in first place instead of saying they can't help me without the password. So sick of them. Try another company

Had a Scott home security system for 2 weeks. Removed after multiple attempts to fix false alarms. Securtek refusing to refund monitoring charge for the month. Securtek was aware of multiple down time and over riding of alarm. Securtek phoned me to report alarm after system had been removed from my house!

I have Securetec for my home and Business both and I can tell u most awful service I ever had. From last three years I m with them and it's never happened till now that I called them and talking to there customer service reps or ever the the guys come home for service they don't even know how to talk. Even charging me to come home and fix the problem they don't wanna answer my questions and if u ask again they leave without finishing there job.
If u work hard for your money don't go for securetec.......

I have been after SecurTek to fix my alarm system for over a year with no luck. I made an apt with the first rep and had to take a day of my holidays only to be stood up. I asked for a different rep and was given the run around. Alarm is still not fixed after a year. Now they just cut me adrift after demanding a payment for an alarm that was useless. I would never recommend this oufit to anyone. Go any where else but this company.

Great service if you want stickers plastered all over your mailbox. I would not do business with people who spam the world. I hope the alarms last longer than the stickers.

i loved it! My install went without a hitch, the installer was amazing, and helpful. I love the customer service- easy to access. They accepted emails to update. i couldn't be happier, They accepted my adjustments and tailored it to me

Overall, this company has been okay. No problems with monitoring. But I was late with an invoice payment and I got calls everyday for a week. I've never been late before and would hope that it wasn't necessary to harass me everyday. I sent payment in and everything went back to normal.

Overall, we are happy with the securtek alarm system. However, their service is slow. When we were looking for a repair to our basement alarm sensors, it took a few calls back and forth to get it set up. Also, we have changed emergency contact names a few times, and I've found that they don't make the necessary changes until I call back to follow up.
