replace all components of gas log insert
I phoned EMBRIDGE GAS to express concern that I could not light the pilot light of my gas log set, and thought I detected the smell of gas. They (Vic) came out and diagnosed a gas leak, red tagged the unit, suggested a place that sold the units, and drew me a map. I went there, (they had been called by VIC), gave me a quote. I returned to ask about parts, they said it was old. Not wanting to spend this $$$ I went on line to look up other companies- I dialed a 1-800 told them my problem. They gave me a contact. "Gas Fireplace Service 905-949-9777. I phoned, got an immediate service call from Imran Emamdee. He said I DID NOT have a leak- the problem was not getting enough gas throught the pilot. The unit is 15yrs old. He gave me a quote for new parts, I trusted his work, and now I have a working log set that is amazing.....I will always recommend Imran, trustworthy, and shows pride in what he does so well.
