Fire & Water Damage Restoration review in Newmarket

My basement backed up and I had 2 companies come in to look at the area. Rooter-Man was one of them and Stephan came out to give an estimate. Very nice guy and a pleasure to deal with. His quote was reasonable and I booked him for service at the end of the week and paid a $500 deposit. I ended up going with a local company instead as I got a better rate but Stephan was able to refund my money. I wouldn't hesitate to have them work on the house in the future.

My basement backed up and I had 2 companies come in to look at the area. Rooter-Man was one of them and Stephan came out to give an estimate. Very nice guy and a pleasure to deal with. His quote was reasonable and I booked him for service at the end of the week and paid a $500 deposit. I ended up going with a local company as they had a better price so cancelled the appointment with Rooter-Man roughly 3 hours later (the same day I booked them). They said I would get a refund on the $500 but it would take a while. OK, 2 weeks later I called back to ask for an update and they told me accounting was on vacation for a week and it would be processed when they got back. This was Sept 1st, and I'm still waiting for the refund.

As I said, Stephan was great and seemed like a stand up guy. I'd probably even recommend them too, but their refund procedures are a bit lacking if anything comes up and you have to cancel.
