Tiernan fixed our oven - broken glass and broken igniter . He was recommended by another friend. Very upfront about estimated cost and very quick service and response . Visit was just as expected - no surprises . Excellent customer service and so happy to have my oven working again . Saved a lot of money vs buying a new one. Friendly and informative as well :). Highly recommended .

Our double door fridge wasn't staying cold, and Tiernan promptly came out the same day I called him to look at it (which seems to be very rare after calling around). Unfortunately the faulty wiring in the door could not be repaired, as the part was unavailable, but Tiernan let me know about this and gave me some tips on what I could try to fix it myself before defaulting to buying a new refrigerator. I feel like I was treated extremely fairly and wasn't given the run-around that he could fix something that could not be fixed in reality. Stand-up guy and a great experience. I had a small bar fridge that needed repair last year and Tiernan did an excellent job, fast, efficient and reasonable price for the repair.
We called again a few weeks ago, our main fridge had a leak. Tiernan was kind enough to come over within 20 minutes to help solve the leak problem even though he would not be able to fix the warrantied part.

Tiernan kindly dismantled the area needed and provided the diagnosis from which we could order the correct part from the dealer. He spent more than 1 hour and did not charge for the call. He said he did not repair it, therefore did not charge. I am impressed. Above and beyond excellent ! Thank-you Tiernan.

I had a problem with my refrigerator, the water dispenser is low, I saw the review of Tiernan, so I gave him a call and I was not disappointed, he is professional and fixed my refrigerator ( I had it repair previously by another company but was not able to do it) at no time and the cost of repair was reasonable, I won't hesitate to recommend him.

Our dryer stopped spinning about 6 months ago, and my friend recommended Tiernan from HRAS as being somebody trustworthy and affordable. Tiernan came right away and did a perfect job for a very reasonable price on our dryer. Then last week our washer stopped draining and spinning. When we called Tiernan, he remembered me and came right away. A perfect gentleman, we would definitely trust him in our home to fix our appliances any time.

I have Amana stainless steel fridge and noticed yesterday the fridge portion was not cool. I called Tiernan of Household, and he asked me some key questions to determine what was wrong. He brought few parts (fan assembly, thermostat etc) to give higher chance of solving the problem. Before i called him I was prepared to buy new fridge but that would have cost me over $4000 for comparable one. He gave me a quote first to replace fan $360 but after installation found that it was not the fan but the thermostat and took out new fan and replaced with old fan and then replaced the thermostat. the price came down. The work was most professional and most importantly an honest business person. His rates I believe are fair and better than most other appliance companies. I highly recommend his services.

We have two little kids and when our washing machine cratered, well needless to say we were in a pickle. Tiernan was recommended to me by a friend and so I gave him a call. He called me back within 10 minutes and was able to come that very afternoon. He was friendly and was able to diagnose the problem very quickly and he was honest and upfront about the options I had to fix it. He was able to fix it within a half an hour and our washer is running like new! He also gave me tips on how to prevent the problem from happening again. Would definitely recommend him to everyone!

Tiernan fixed our dishwasher after it sprung a leak and ruined our floors and poured water into our basement. He was honest to deal with and exceptionally patient since we had to go through a long wait with insurance to fix our floors. He was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly.

We had a squeaky dryer that was very annoying. I called Household Refrigeration and Appliance Service they booked an appointment for that week. We had our repair man come out fixed the dryer in a very timely manner, he was very kind and generous with his time and knowledge. Great service, very professional, would definitely recommend to anyone seeking repair services of any type.
