We were looking for help with getting our new Ikea kitchen built and installed. The company recommended by Ikea was not readily available and the price was going to be unrealistic for our budget. I found HomeStars and found Alex and the Ikea Kitchen Installation company. He was available right after the kitchen delivery and his quote was priced right. I read through the reviews for his company and booked him right away. Alex and his guys were exactly on time and got right to work. We reviewed the kitchen plan and discussed a few options, I ended up going with his suggestions on all points and I'm glad i did. On day 2 they actually completed the build and install early! We are so thrilled with the results. I am recommending Alex to everyone! You won't be disappointed! I will upload pictures once the counters are installed.
Follow up: We sold our house and got Alex and his crew to add some cabinets and counters to our new kitchen and again they were fantastic! Highly recommend these guys!

This review is long overdue, as Alexander completed our kitchen renovation in November of 2015, and he's even now completed our neighbour's kitchen as well! (Yes, I recommended him already!)
Hire this man. I'm telling you, he's the best money you will spend on your IKEA kitchen.
He first came out to measure and design our kitchen for us, spent 3 hours total, went over all aspects of the design that we wanted/needed, and that he suggested and did NOT suggest. He had a plan back to us within a week, and once we agreed to it, he added on all the little extra pieces to the IKEA program that I would NEVER EVER have thought to add. Thank GOODNESS we hired Alexander for this job!
There was then a month or so between then and when we were able to have him back to install everything (other contractors handled demo, electrical, plumbing and a new floor). He and his one crew member worked absolutely tirelessly from morning-to-night to finish our kitchen perfectly (3 days total). Alexander even creatively figured out a strange corner problem we were having and he raised all the counters to suit our height too. He is a perfectionist and VERY careful with checking levels again and again.
Without any hesitation, I would definitely recommend Alexander to design and install your IKEA kitchen. I just wish he would handle all our other renos, because his attention to detail, honest pricing, and finished product are amazing. Thank you, Alexander!

We were very impressed with Alex and his crew- they showed up right on time, were patient taking the needed time to explain how everything would flow, then followed the plan to detail. What impressed us the most, Alex made sure everything balanced to perfection. If it did not look right, he would not move forward until it lined up, was level. We work with many trades, and we would not hesitate to refer and work with this company again. Pride in their craft. Rare to find.

Hired Alex to installed some ikea kitchen cabinets in my house. The wall was not level and some creative thinking was needed to make everything look right. Alex did an excellent job that far exceeded my expectations. Very clean, courteous and offered suggestions along the way. Would not hesitate to hire him again or reco to anyone looking for a kitchen install. Great work for a VERY fair price

We needed our new IKEA kitchen installed quickly because of a tight move-in deadline for our new office space. I contacted Alexander and he was friendly, professional, and ensured that he could have it installed within a couple days of our first email exchange.

Alexander gave us an excellent quote and took the time to explain all the details to me. Him and his team member arrived on time and worked quickly. We appreciated their recommendations during the installation process and we are happy with their work!

This review is long overdue but I wanted to communicate how much we love our kitchen! Alexander and his staff did an amazing job in our new home. They were very clean, organized, and provided us with excellent recommendations for our kitchen when we were planning it. Alexander is very knowledgeable about IKEA products and knows what will work/wont work. We often consulted him during the build and he was able to tell us exactly what we needed. Alexander has not even begun our IKEA kitchen installation but I am already exceptionally impressed with him. He is courtesous, quick to respond to emails, very accommodating and more than anything else his knowledge of this line of cabinets is fantastic.
He was able to pick out design flaws from the paper plan I developed with the IKEA kitchen people that would have been a nuisance to deal with later - and these details were missed by other people who provided me quotes on the kitchen. I can't wait for him to start next week!

Alexander did a fantastic job on our IKEA basement bar installation. He provided an estimate based on our the IKEA design docs and pictures we provided. Alexander showed great patience as we were (and are) in the midst of a renovation that experiences endless delays. When we finally were ready for the bar installation, Alexander showed up bright and early, with a helper and they worked all day to complete the install. There was a tricky bulkhead to contend with but Alexander came up with solutions that look and work great.

Based on the excellent job on the bar, we had Alexander back to install most of our office (high-end IKEA office furnishings and some IKEA kitchen wall cabinetry). Once again, Alexander arrived early with a helper and they completed the job in one day. The furniture looks great and Alexander does a good job of cleaning everything up before he leaves.

We highly recommend Alexander's services for all IKEA kitchen and office installations.

We had Alexander at our home in February to install our new kitchen. He finished the project on time and we had minor issues, most of them because Ikea delivered some wrong parts and our home was in a major renovation. But after all, everything is working in good shape. We already had 6 months to test the kitchen and we couldn't be more satisfied. I highly recommend his service.
