Peter is very professional and is quick to respond by email but slow to come by. However, when he does come by he takes his time to explain the work that he will do and if you have questions, he takes the time to explain the materials and installation process. His crew however, is a different story - you have to watch them like a hawk. Peter's rate may or may not be competitive depending on how busy is already or how many projects he has lined up. Definitely get multiple quotes. You have to stay home and make sure the crew does do the work properly. It helps if Peter is actually there. The crew was caught skimping on the work (not putting an under-layer next to the drain pipes) at another project but not ours. The work we paid for was for roofing, eaves trophe repair (it was leaking at various corners), shed roof and 3 vent towers for the roof.

I had number of quotations from $4K to $9K before I had chosen City Roofing. The decision was mainly due to the price but the owner Peter was also giving me the confident as he was able to clearly explained to me how things was going to be done and patiently letting me know all the options available so I can choose the right product most suitable for my need and my bottom line ($). One thing out of my expectation was his post-sales service was a lot better than what I had expected as only the company who quoted me $9K can promise me the next day service in case if there is any issue after installation. One time I had some concern with how the water flow within my old gutters after the new roof installation, Peter at least able to come in and take a look next day and letting me know what need to be done and come in and help us out in a very reasonable timeline. Indeed, City Roofing had install many of roofs in my neighborhood and I had never heard of any complaint so far.

Late last fall we realized that there were several shingles missing from our roof. Concerned that we would not be well protected during the winter months, we decided to look into getting the roof replaced. City Roofing & Aluminum re-shingled the roof at a family member's home years ago and came highly recommended. Peter returned my call promptly and advised that it was already too cold for a full roofing job to be completed properly and recommended that he instead perform a repair to get us through the winter. Following this initial call, all subsequent communication and coordination of the work was done via text messaging which I found extremely convenient. The repair was completed in a few hours at a very reasonable cost. Peter sent photos of the areas where the work was done. Upon completion he left a quote for complete roof shingles replacement along with shingle samples and a detailed itemized list of exactly what the service will include. We were appreciative of the professional advice and the fact that he was willing to potentially forfeit a huge job in favour of providing a simple repair in the best interest of the client was worth noting. When it came time to decide on the shingle colour, Peter was very helpful, returning to our house several times to drop off full shingle samples as we kept changing our minds. The full shingle replacement was completed in one day in the spring. We had some questions a few days following completion and Peter addressed them immediately. Even a few weeks after the job was done we noticed a piece of tape attached to our roof flapping in the wind and Peter came and removed it. Overall we were most impressed with the prompt and professional communication, reasonable price, the convenience of the entire process and the quality of work and follow up. City Roofing & Aluminum Co. did my roof 7 years ago. I noticed that a few of the shingles had started to pop up at the right side of my roof . I called Peter on Sat & he came prompty on Monday. He not only nailed down the loose shingles but also did a walk around to check the entire roof for me. Peter told me that it was likely caused by the wind storm from a week ago & not caused by animal. As a result, his service was covered by the 10 year warranty & I did not have to pay him anything. I was very happy with the service & that Peter was able to honor the warranty without any issue!

City Roofing & Aluminum Company did an excellent job on my house. Peter paid great attention to detail, and got the job done in the time that was promised. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking to get there roof done!

Used city roofing to re shingle my roof was not happy from start to finish one week after roof was done I had two leaks called peter he said someone would b there the next day took day of work but no one showed called peter all day but no answer had to hire another roofer to fix there mistakes when I checked there reviews they have two company's one under city roofing and one under city roofing and aluminum when i checked city roofing they had a lot of bad reviews I guess that's whey they started another company over all not happy do not use this company

So pleased with City Roofing which reshingled our last house that we called on them again when our current house had a leaky roof. We appreciated their quick response, efficient and professional service. Peter explained everything in detail so there were no surprises. Job was done in 1.5 days as promised Follow up and attention to small details also much appreciated. Pleasure to work with and would highly recommend City Roofing.

Peter returned me a quotation in minutes based on satellite image of my house, and it kind of surprised me. It was firmed all the way from beginning to end, without introduction of any extra cost, which I encountered in other home project. The quotation was very competitive and reasonable when you consider the material and service, whereas other competitors I contacted tried to reduce the material cost and therefore provide a lower cost to customer and/or gain higher profit. He has proof of insurance coverage, which is my criteria of roofing project. He followed up with me for details after work (9pm, which is understandable), filled me details and answered my question. During our conversations, he proofed his professional knowledge and affirmed his reliability. 99% of the job done in one day, only couple minor things needed to finish up the next day, as planned. Unlike many other home improvement projects I experienced, this one is all the way peace of mind and no hiccups. Absolutely highly recommended.

Peter showed up to quote our new roof project on the day we phoned. He was courteous and obviously very knowledgeable. He quoted and showed us pictures he took of problem areas. Although our project was delayed by a month because of the weather, we were happy with the job and price. Peter responded to all my texts promptly and addressed all my concerns. The roof was completed in a day, as promised. Peter also returned to next day and re-caulked areas of concern, and showed us pictures he took when he was up there. Very happy with the City Roofing!

I had Peter replaced my roof 7 yeas ago in my old house, and after I moved, I had no hesitation in getting him to do the job for my current house. Peter was very professional, he suggested ways to solve my garage roof leakage problem by redirecting the spouts and he did that personally after his team finished replacing my roof. His team was very efficient too and finished the job in one day whereas I've seen neighbours having their roof done in 2-3 days. Though I had my roof done a month ago, but he was very nice and came back to put turbines on my roof on my request. Excellent service and I had no hesitation in recommending him.
