Purchased new Whirlpool Refrigerator
I bought a new Whirlpool fridge from this location and when techs installed and plugged in fridge there was a knocking noise. I contacted their Service dept and they dispatched an independent contractor to look at my fridge. Contractor came and even before investigating the issue, he told me that the sound is normal. I told him that no where in the operating manual do they list "knocking" as a normal operating sound. He responded that there is nothing he can do and that he would charge me $100 for his time, because in his opinion my service call became a "Customer Education" call. This is NOT the way to treat a customer who buys a BRAND NEW fridge. VERY DISAPPOINTED and will never buy from TRAIL APPLIANCE ever again!!!!
