Horrible service, left patches in my driveway including the front of my house.

Advised back that he did not care about how my home looks and there is nothing he can do

The worst paving job I have ever experienced. My driveway has large streaks from top to bottom. They said the snowplough scrapped the driveway. In October! The problem is the base had sand & large stones and no limestone. Now the sand is coming through the thin layer of asphalt. Today I noticed ant hills along the driveway. I called them but they said they only do repairs in November. I am thinking to call Pat Foran from City TV to expose these dishonest people.

Vitale, a representative from Prestige Paving LTD arrived at my home on September 23, 2020. While there he examined and measured my driveway. As the neighbouring driveway was to paved as well, it was also measured. Measuring included width, length and depth dimensions of both driveways. Vitale was informed that my neighbour and I wanted a slope between the two driveways. As well, I told Vitale that I did not want water from rainfall or any other source to trickle into the backyard, as a result of the driveway was sloped. Vitale was also told that the height of my driveway measured approximately two inches lower the floor of my neighbour’s garage floor.

After measuring the relevant areas, and understanding my neighbour’s and I need, we entered into an agreement, to pave our driveway.

Vitale and his crew excavated both driveways on September 29, 2020.

Following the excavation, I attempted to contact Vitale twice by phone to let him know that I required two or three days advance notice of when the work was scheduled to be done, as I wanted to be home when the work was being done. Vitale did not answer the phone and there was no room on voicemail to leave a message.

On November 5, 2020, Vitale sent a text message to my phone advising that he and his crew would commence work on November 6, 2020. I required more lead time as I needed to be away from work. As such, I was not able to be on the premises on November 6, 2020, to oversee the work that was being done.

The job was completed on November 6, 2020, but not to the specifications that had been discussed and agreed upon, on September 23, 2020. The slope is problematic. It is uneven and and the slope created by Vitale and his crew is three feet from my house wall. Moreover, a pathway was created that allows the water to run into my backyard. I was very clear that I did not want water running into the backyard on the first meeting. Additionally, because the slope is incorrect, water tends to sit and form three distinct areas of puddles. Obviously, the puddles will freeze in the winter and create an opportunity for my client, members of his family and visitors to slip and fall.

I provided a $100 dollar upfront fee deposit for the work and will pay in full payment once work is completed with client’s 100% satisfaction. I has been in contact with Vitale that the job was unsatisfactory and insists that the work is fine. I relayed that i was not happy with the work as it was not what was agreed upon, Vitale threatened me, claiming that he would have his crew come in and excavate the driveway, but not remove the materials. He also threatened to involve the police.

We experienced a rainfall on November 4, 2020. I took a video and pictures of the puddles that resulted from the rainfall and sent them to Vitale. To date, there has not been any response.

On December 2, 2020, Vitale and his crew excavated the new paving and left a messed purposely so I can not drive my car in or out and park.

Conclusion here is to aware other clients about this company, no proper communication to clients, and better to look elsewhere.

Prestige Paving was referred to me by a friend, I asked for a quote and they came by quickly and did the work as promised. They were very well staffed and very equipped to do the job. All fine details were met, I had a cobblestone walkway which they paved along side of it. The pavement looks great and it complimented my walkway beautifully, I would highly recommend Prestige to my friends and family!

Had these guys pave my driveway last year. After explicitly explaining that there needs to be a slope away from the neighbours house and towards the centre of the driveway, followed by another slope to main road, they did the exact opposite. They sloped it to the back corner under my shed in the backyard which led straight to my neighbours house and eventually caused a leak in my neighbors basement. After multiple attempts to get them back in to fix it, Vitale (the main guy who I was dealing with) had the audacity to say he explained this what would happen and that he would charge me to fix it! I've been asking them for over a year now with pictures of proof and explanations but they refuse to do anything and don't even respond. I even spoke to Sam who apparently deals with customer service issues and the guys pretty much said go back to Vitale as I trust his decision. Absolutely worst Paving company. Don't give them your business.... True nightmare of a contractor!

I can't thank Prestige Paving enough for the amazing job they did on my driveway. I especially appreciated that they contacted me the day prior to confirm they were coming to do the job. The owner was on the job working with his crew - he informed me that he is always at every job working side by side with his employees (to me that speaks volumes about his character) and that Presitge Paving truly is determined to provide the highest quality of work. I highly recommend them!

When I called the Sam a good person there is an honest match he did the job I gave him the money conclusion it rained I stayed with a pool he promised to come and I will not do anything I do not recommend it anyone

Do not hire this company. No customer service. Tells you one thing and does something else. If left unsupervised will take major short cuts. Goes back on their word. Awful experience.

I am writing this review for Prestige Paving as they are one of the most professional and personable companies that I have interacted with. I recently had my driveway done and am feeling positive about making the decision to hire Prestige Paving for this service. They were quite thorough in explaining the materials and process of the work and took the time to answer all my questions and concerns thoughtfully. It is quite clear that they use top notch materials for the job and that they completed the work with care for the quality of the final product. While completing my driveway, Prestige Paving was punctual and efficient!
I would highly recommend Prestige Paving to my family and friends and to any homeowner who is looking for this service because they possess skilled and diligent workers!
