Costard Renovation

This is the second project we hired Rodrigo to complete for us. The renovation was a complete gut job. Rodrigo and Mike did an amazing job! Rodrigo thinks of little things that will make the functionality better. For example, he moved the vent from in front of the door to the side.They are detail oriented, the quality of their work is top notch and the renovation was completed within the time frame given. The estimate for the renovation was accuarate to the final cost. Rodrigo and Mike are very polite, trustworthy and leave the worksite clean every night.

My husband and I heard about Rodrigo through multiple recommendations in our neighbourhood as he's worked on many projects in the area. After having completed an extensive interior renovation, we were looking to have work done on the exterior of our home including a third floor deck, back and front yard decks, in addition to stonework (walkway & border) to frame a landscaped garden.

After having had a couple of quotes and consultations, we felt the most comfortable with Rodrigo. Not only did Rodrigo and Mike complete the job in the estimated time-frame, but Rodrigo went above and beyond what we could have expected on deliverables. We really only provided Rodrigo with a few "nice to haves", and let him work his magic with the design. His workmanship, communication and professionalism throughout the project was second to none. Because of his level of detail, the end products were better than what we could have imagined, including small details such as built-in planter boxes, pine accents and built-in lighting.

The end products were not only functional for our personal uses, but stylish and beautiful. We continually receive compliments on his work and have recommended Rodrigo to friends. We will most definitely hire Rodrigo again for future projects!

Rodrigo and his team recently completed a major 5-week cedar deck and stone patio project for my family. I’m going to start with how this job ended – with a hug. Seriously. Rodrigo and Mike were the perfect team to renovate our backyard. We couldn’t be more pleased. They have transformed our backyard into a beautiful space for our family and friends to gather and enjoy. Everyone who sees it is totally blown away by the creative craftsmanship and artistry of their work.

Over the course of this 5-week project, I always felt that we were in very talented, capable, honest hands. Not to mention, dependable. Rodrigo started the job on time and ended the job on time. He showed up when he said he would show up, and communicated with me every day. As a result, I knew what was happening each step of the way in this project - and what the next step was going to be. But what I admire most about Rodrigo’s work is the artistry and small creative details that he included. Things I would never have thought about. It is clear, that Rodrigo and Mike take great pride in their work, and because of this, we have a renovated backyard that is even more beautiful than we could have imagined.

I would not hesitate to recommend Rodrigo and his team. Honesty, dependability and artistry are their winning combination. But you better hurry and book him because I will be using him again soon for all our future home renovations!

The owner, Rodrigo, (and his colleague, Mike) are the guys you deal with and who actually do the work. They don't send in a team with just their logo on a truck.

They completely gutted and revived our back and front yard including a new multi-level deck with built-in lighting, fences, retaining walls and interlocking stone work. Even though we’re in a narrow urban townhouse, our friends all rave about the large new space that Rodrigo created for us.

Before starting the work they gave good input into the design. Through the project they were pleasant and conscientious, kept the yard clean and were always respectful of our neighbours and the impact on them.

We were impressed with the quality of work, including nice finishing touches - many aspects we just trusted them to make the right decision and Rodrigo was always right.

Overall, Rodrigo and Mike are just all around dependable contractors who takes pride in their work. I would certainly recommend!

Rodrigo and his team completed a beautiful bathroom renovation for us. Their work is impeccable and done on time and on budget. This was a complete rip out and rebuild in an old house, so there were lots of variables to contend with. Rodrigo shows up on time and works efficiently, and is respectful to the home in which he is working. Clean up is done at the end of the day, every day. We love our new bathroom! Rodrigo and his crew are fabulous. We couldn't have been happier with how responsive they were, the quality of work, and the timeliness of everything. They were also incredibly courteous and friendly and let my 3 year old watch all the work while dealing with his million questions. Would use them again and would recommend them highly.

We’d been wanting to upgrade our backyard for several years but didn’t really know the details of exactly what we wanted, we were so lucky to have found Rodrigo who took our vague outline and turned it into something beautiful and much better than we could have imagined! He is a pleasure to work with and has very high standards for his work. His carpentry skills are especially strong and you can clearly see he takes great pride in doing the job right. New flooring, fence with recessed lighting, new deck with lighting, raised kids play house and kids play pergola. The centerpiece is an adult’s pergola with gas firepit, outdoor speakers, corner lighting and chandler. Will post pics soon.

Rodrigo was amazing, nice, neat, on time, reasonable. He is going to be our new "go to" guy for home repairs. I can't recommened him enough. He is very talented and good communication. Rodrigo has a 2nd person to help him, Mike, who was also polite, nice, hard working. Our bathroom is amazing. We had a small leak from a seal that didn't seal and Rodrigo came and fixed it on a Saturday taking time away from his family to ensure his work was top quality!!! I would recommend Rodrigo in a heartbeat and will definitely hire him again in the future.

Costard Renovation was wonderful! Led up by Rodrigo, the job went smoothly and as much as possible to time - our only hold up was doors from Central Fairbanks Lumber. Rodrigo is a creative thinker and provided a lot of value in design along with quality workmanship. His team mate Mike complimented Rodrigo in his hard work and attention to detail.
