Reliable Painters GTA takes deposits and does not show up to do the job!!! I hired him through kijiji to paint my condo back in September of 2018. He needed a 50% deposit which i found to be fair since paint and supplies needed to be bought. $500. After receiving this deposit and the day to paint came closer, he stopped responding to my emails, phone call and texts. He took the money and did no work and with no response.
He finally responded to my emails 2 years later and said his grand mother passed away. That is not an excuse to take peoples money for a job that wasn't done. He sent me an email asking what he can do to rectify the situation instead of just transferring the money back that he took.
DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR MONEY TAKEN!
I have email trails, texts and phone call records if he tries to disprove this review. He sent me an email a couple of days ago saying he transferred money to me. I got NO transfer and when asked to send me the verification number of the transfer I have gotten no responses.
DON"T USE HIM unless you want to be taken like I was. Give me my money back!!!!!
I will update this review if he actually returns my money back.
I have also reported this to CTV news consumer report(have a friend who is a video editor there) and will not stop until my money is actually returned. I will be calling the cops on my next step as this is not right.

The feedback provided is a false claim. Your full refund had been made. In the real world, a deposit is not refundable, please refer to our contract provided. In the past 8 years, we've had no claim that we've stolen money. That's not what we do. We've opened a claim with homestars and have provided proof such as the interact transaction receipt that & also our emails exchanged. Unfortunately we cant attach any photos onto this post but have sent them to head office. We wish you all the best.
