Handyman Kwik Solutions

I'll start off saying I highly recommend Saeed. So far, he has done baseboard, drywall and new bathroom fan installations, as well as other smaller requests. He's responsive and reliable handyman who you can trust to perform a high-quality work. He has been a pleasure to work with for the past few weeks, and I'll continue to use him for my future services.

We had an issue in finding and fixing a leak (water coming around and through the large stone chimney during heavy rainfalls), and as a result also needed replacing and painting drywall (parts of the wall and ceiling). Despite having different reputable (Homestars) contractors replacing the roof, tuck-pointing (chimney), no one was able to fix the leak. Some handyman companies did not want to deal with the leak (only wanted to address the drywall and painting). Sam was the first to notice the issue with the flashing, as well as the slope related issue. Both issues were addressed, as well as the interior work (replacing the drywall, painting, etc). He was very professional, clean, and delivered on what he promised. I haven't seen any water come through since (work was done in early August, so had plenty of rain to test it last month).

We are very satisfied with Sam's work. He takes his time to do the job right, and shows initiative by recommending improvements for the project. The caulking is thorough and the color matches with the frames. As the main part of the project, the resulted front bay window looks truly beautiful.

Sam was referred to me by a friend and I am thrilled with the work that he has done. I had a list of repairs for around the house and Sam was able to complete them all, even making suggestions for other improvements along the way. The outside jobs included painting the trim of our house, power washing and staining the deck, repairing cracks in the concrete and between paving stones. He also noticed some problems with the eavestrough and repaired that. The inside jobs included tearing out old carpet in our basement and laying vinyl flooring, staining a cabinet that was scratched, drywalling an opening in our bathroom where we'd had an old cabinet and sanding and painting the wall in that room. He also did paint touch up jobs throughout the house. Sam's work was so good that the more he did, the more I asked him to do. His attention to detail is excellent and he is so pleasant to have around. He is also very prompt in responding to texts/returning phone calls and is extremely reliable. All that on top of being extremely capable. I would definitely recommend Sam!

this is forth time, that I hired Sam, for bigger job, renovating entire, kitchen and bathroom, as I was expecting from him, he again did excellent job, even suggested some priceless adjustment to my original plan. he is honest, polite and knowledgeable about what he is doing.

We hired Sam multiple times for small and large projects in our house. Sam is very professional, knowledgeable and easy to work with. We are very satisfied with the quality of his work. We highly recommend his services and will be calling him again for other projects in the near future.

Hired Sam based on all the reviews but he did not do a great job. He is very nice and respectful and honest but he made a lot of work out of what was a straightforward job... did not want to use the Ikea drain kit that came with my new sink (which I was fine with) so had to cut holes in the vanity drawers which were very roughly cut and do not look good (not alright... didn't want to take it apart and do it right). Did not tape when he painted and now I will have to remove paint off surfaces it shouldn't be on. Did not notice things like the fact that the toilet paper holder wouldn't have enough room to be usable once he relocated the sink (see photo). Now it has to stick straight up (looks silly) Basically was in too much of a rush and didn't think things through enough before starting and when I expressed my displeasure at the end, implied it was me that set him up for failure. And he is not cheap... But otherwise he's a nice guy to be around and if it was a simple project he might do it well, although I will not use him again based on this experience.

Sam is simply the best. I have a very old house that needs special care and understanding, and he's shown that he can deal with any problem that comes up. He's dealt with damp in the basement, solved eavestrough problems, repaired and restored old wood. There really doesn't seem to be any limit to his skills. I particularly like the fact that he explains what he thinks needs to be done, Sam's knowledgeable, creative, honest, reliable. I wouldn't hire anyone else.

I hired Sam to newly cement my walkway at the side of the house. He and his buddy did a wonderful job. It was completed in 2 days. They worked almost nonstop, were professional and very friendly, which counts for a lot to me. I would definitely call on him again and have already recommended him to a friend. Thanks, guys.

My husband and I are very pleased with Sam's work. We hired him to redo our staircase, as well as various other jobs (installing a door in the basement, repairing an outdoor staircase, installing a hand-rail etc) in preparation of selling our home.
I contacted several well-rated vendors on Homestars, and selected Sam as he provided the most prompt response as well as the most reasonable quote for the work. When he first came to review what work needs to be done, he promptly fixed some piping that had come loose from our washing machine on the spot. He completed the work quickly and efficiently, and also fixed other small things he noticed around the house such as loose cabinet doors. He is knowledgeable, skilled, reliable and also flexible.
We would highly recommend Sam for home renovation projects and will definitely be contacting him in the future.
