We took advantage of LG appliance's special agreement to fix any problem found for $190. We suspected it might be a circuit board issue, which it was. This is an expensive part so we chose to go with the flat rate. It was over Christmas so it took a few days to get an appointment but once it was booked everything happened very efficiently. The repairman was very pleasant, answered questions, found the problem in a few minutes and put in a new board. If there are any problems within 90 days he will return and do whatever is required to fix it. Southland apparently has a contract to do LG's repair work, thus the $190 flat rate.
