Derek, owner of Accountable Roofing was extremely easy to deal with. He was efficient and fast to provide me with a reasonable quote. His work crew was prompt at beginning work on the roof and finished most of the project in 4 days. Derek is very " hands on" and took pride in completing many of the smaller jobs himself and usually remained on site almost until dark in order to complete these tasks. He is very particular that all work is done to the highest standards and that includes every facet including the shingles, flashings, down pipes, skylights, etc. It is unusual for a contractor not to take a deposit before beginning a project but Derek said he did not require a deposit and would take the final cheque only when the job was finished to my satisfaction. Accountable roofing did an outstanding installation of my new roof and I would highly recommend his company to do roofing work on any of my friend's, neighbours' or family's homes.

Derek is a true professional. 11 months ago we replaced our roof and were very happy with their service. Last night, during a hailstorm, we discovered a minor leak at 12:30 a.m. Derek came by at 1 a.m. and helped us deal with it. Today we discovered it was due to clogged gutters as we back onto a green belt and have many trees around our home. Derek went above and beyond and we are so thankful that we hired this company in the first place. They are honest, have integrity and have been an absolute pleasure to deal with!

Last year my neighbour hired Derek to replace their roof. They received lots of different quotes, but decided to go with Derek. I watched the work and was very impressed to see Derek there each day to check the work being done.
So this year when it was time for me to get a new roof, I didn't hesitate to go with Derek at Accountable Roofing. The roof took only a day to finish and Derek came the next day to inspect and do a few extras. I love my new roof and am extremely happy with the workmanship. Also Derek was a pleasure to do business with. I would recommend him and his company highly.

Great job! We love our new roof! Derek and his crew replaced our old cedar shake roof with a new asphalt shingle roof. They worked on a difficult roof in difficult weather and were professional and considerate throughout the process. Their clean up after the job was completed could not have been better. They left our property cleaner than when they arrived! And everything was done for a very reasonable price. We highly recommend them!

My 90 year old mother needed a new roof and Derek took care of everything from providing a completely understandable and competitive quote to ensuring that every last bit of debris was removed from the site upon completion.
