Derek Moyes is like no other owner of a trades company that I've worked with. When I expressed interest in a quote during his sales visit he asked me to give him a few minutes, he climbed his ladder and started taking measurements. The quote that he provided me that day was the final number for the project. Unlike other roofing companies Derek returned my calls during peak season. The project went smoothly, there were no delays, everything happened as Derek has told me it would go. Derek's crew were incredibly professional and respectful. In fact, a neighbor of mine came over to "speak to the person in charge" only to compliment them on the work they were doing. They took every opportunity to ensure trees and shrubs were protected, debris was collected. Even when we did the final walk around Derek was searching and located some small pieces that I didn't notice. Whenever Derek and I interacted he would always ask me how things were going and whether I was happy and whether I had any concerns.

We have a large 25,000 sq ft church building that needed a combination of flat roof and shake conversion done. We finally had to bite the bullet and get our roof re-done. Accountable did the job wonderfully. What is more important to me is the response to any problems and availability in case of an issue. Accountable proved they are only a call away. Their customer service was great and we are happy to recommend their company.

October 2015 Accountable Roofing Installed a new Duroid Roof.

Every time I drive up to my house I am impressed all over again.  I love my new roof.  It makes the house look brand new. 

Most of my yard is planted in flower and vegetable gardens as well as fruit trees and bushes.  It was important to me that these plants not be damaged. I talked to Derek in the summer and asked him to come on the 5th of October when we got back from holiday.  I figured that the plants would be getting ready for winter and wouldn’t suffer too much with the workmen.  Derek was true to his word and arrived promptly.  That was a treat after the experience I had with other construction the year before.  The crew arrived after a slight delay for weather and were finished within the week.  I noticed that other neighbours  had their crews for a much longer time.  

Derek checked the progress of the job every day and made sure that things were happening as expected.  My garden survived and showed no signs of damage.  The old shingles and other debris were all picked up and the driveway was swept with a strong magnet to ensure there were no problems with nails and car tires. 

I will have no problem recommending Accountable Roofing to friends and neighbours.

Derek Moyes, the manager and owner of Accountable roofing has done an awesome roof installation on our home. His quote was reasonable and met all the warranty issues. At no time did we feel pressured and he was always prompt, reliable and informative in dealing with an issues that always surface during any construction project-there were absolutely no surprises. He was always considerate of our needs and would often go out of his way to ensure the customer was satisfied. His work crew were professional, courteous and extremely conscientious as well as hardworking. Not only was his crew fast and friendly but for them keeping the worksite area clean and safe was a priority. We were confident the end result would be perfect since Derek would oversee ever step of the project. Derek had certainly chosen an appropriate name for his company because his roofing company is very “Accountable.” We would highly recommend Accountable Roofing to anyone thinking of replacing their roof.
