I phoned about my old slowly leaking water heater Monday morning and they visited and looked at it within hours then provided quotes that same day. Wednesday morning I had a new water heater installed.

Our AC unexpectedly stopped working & Mike sent out a very knowledgeable & efficient tech to check it out. He quickly determined the problem & we decided to buy a new unit. Response time for communication was extremely fast and the prices were fair/competitive. They (Mike & his tech) installed the unit quickly and to the specifications we asked for. My Furnace (13 yrs. old) Blower Fan stopped working on a Saturday afternoon just as a heat wave was starting. I chose Home Air systems based on the Homestar reviews and called them on late Saturday afternoon. I spoke with Mike, the owner, and he said that parts would not be available on the weekend and said he would send a technician at 8 am Monday morning. The technician arrived right on time and quickly determined that the blower fan was the problem. The technician also showed me that the exhaust inducer motor was much louder than he would expect, suggesting that this part may also have a problem. Mike called me later that morning and told me that that the blower fan model was no longer available and that a different model would also require a new circuit board. Mike clearly explained the repair costs, but with a 13-year-old furnace I was not comfortable spending a lot on repairs and asked Mike for a quote on a new furnace. Mike indicated he could install a new furnace first thing on Wednesday morning, to which I agreed. As promised Mike and Technician arrived at 8:30 Wednesday and were finished by 12:30.
Mike is very easy to deal with, explains the problem well and provides options. I highly recommend Home Air Systems and would definitely use them again.

Home Air Systems is rated in the top quartile for HVAC firms in our area on Home Stars with customer reviews which are very noteworthy. The technician approached our air conditioner problem in the same manner that a seasoned project manager would take. The issue was diagnosed in a very timely and cost effective manner. He offered several options to complete the repair, along with a recommendation. He also answered all our questions, which were easy for us to understand. He is a seasoned entrepreneur with integrity, who truly enjoys helping out his clients.

Mike and his team are quick, efficient and great to deal with. I needed my gas dryer disconnected, and they were able to come within two days. A few weeks later my AC started dripping water indoors, and Mike picked up my call on a Saturday night, and had a tech to my house first thing Monday morning. Highly recommend their services!

Started up my AC this year to find we were not getting any cold air. Unit was nearly 20 years old. Mike contacted me day 1 to set up time to check it out, and within a week I had a new AC. Really appreciate the timely/professional service. I have already recommended to a family member.

AC failed August 2020.

Not what you want in the summer, especially with a lockdown. Equipment is 21 years old and had done us well but it was clearly past its serviceable life. Needed a do-over.

I called a few places but settled with Mike after a phone and email exchange. Even after a mis-interpretation on the type of install – ATTIC, not basement! - Mike still offered to come out and have a look. We settled on a system and a price. Timing was an issue for both of us and so we fixed the price and pushed the job into 2021. This allowed me to do some other related work meanwhile, which would improve the attic work area plus upgrade the efficiency of the system – new ductwork, extra insulation, attic lighting, etc. We reconfirmed our date in advance, agreed on some extras and looked forward to the job.

Mike & Crew arrived on time, masked-up, ready-to-work. Removing the outside condenser unit was relatively straightforward (despite rain), yet extracting the air handler and built-in evaporator coil down from the attic through a linen closet ceiling and getting the 100 lb. replacement unit up there was a real chore. But they got it done, re-wired the whole lot, upgraded a couple of duct runs, modded the drain and installed a redundant condensate tray with a safety cut-off. Neat, tidy, garbage was managed and the team took the extra care of laying rubber mats throughout the house in order to access the work areas – easier for them, considerate for us.

We trialed the system after six hours of solid work and everything was in order. Our payment was fair and flexible and I think we all had a good day.

Equipment is TRANE and YORK in our case with solid reviews for the specific pieces selected. Mike even took the time to register all the equipment mfr warranties on our behalf - we received the confirmations a few days ago on that point. So some good gear yes, but the skill of the installer is everything. And of course, the REAL test will come in mid-August again, so watch for an update.

So far though, easy for me to see why Mike and HOME AIR SYSTEMS are highly rated = on-time, on-budget, clean, & really nice guys, too.

Wouldn’t hesitate to recco to anyone.

He was patient enough to hear me out explaining the issue and suggesting troubleshooting tips.
Mike ended up sending one of his top technicians, Mark, where he addressed the issue in a very timely and efficient way. Mark displayed a very skillful, professional and courteous behavior. He actually educated me on a few issues with furnaces.
