We were very excited to replace our aging deck, and build a new fence for our backyard. We had been planning this project for well over a year and had a very specific vision that we wanted to create.
We were referred to Xavier by a neighbor and he was a pleasure to work with from the start. He worked with us to help create the exact deck we wanted, down to the smallest detail.
Xavier and his crew are very friendly and always showed up when they said they would. Not even the 40+ degree heat could dampen their spirits while they worked.
I do residential pest control for a living, so I enter many people's backyards every day for work. The build quality of our deck and fence is as good as any I see while working, even on mansions.
In addition to doing excellent quality work, Xavier is also a very effective and creative problem solver. Any time an issue arose during construction he was able to find a great solution.
One of the things we appreciated the most, was that once all of the main work had been done, Xavier came back and spent a whole day dealing with the parts of the deck we weren't 100% happy with. He did not leave until we were happy with every board, every latch on every gate, etc.
When people come to work on or repair things at the house I am rarely impressed. 90% of people want to the job as fast as possible and leave. Not Xavier, even when we were 98% happy with everything he put in the extra time to get it to 100%.
I will be recommending Xavier to any friend or neighbour who needs a new deck or ANY carpentry work.
