Platinum Electrical recently installed an 18kw standby generator for us. Their service was beyond excellent: I wish I could give more than 10 stars. The initial site survey with Mark, the full and detailed communication with Mahtab, and the efficiency of the installation crew (Corey et. al.) made the project one of the easiest home improvements we have made. I believe that the total project cost is a bit higher than usual because of our choice for the location of the generator. I have not included the hydro isolation fee because it varies widely across the GTA.
