Michael installed a radon mitigation system for our home in less than a month after I had initially contacted him. He was an absolute pleasure to work with, always courteous and punctual, and the quality of his work was excellent. We now live in an essentially radon gas free home and I have no hesitation in recommending Michael to anyone who needs to solve an elevated radon gas issue in their home or business.

Michael is extremely knowledgeable and professional. Explained very well about radon gas and the mitigation process. Very responsive to emails and phone calls, even on the weekend. Recommended an excellent measurement device, and completed the mitigation work within 2 weeks of my initial inquiry. Provided additional information about my homes ventilation system. Was in and out of the home in less than a day, left the work site immaculately clean, and continued to stay in touch to assess the results of his work.
My radon gas readings went from over 1200 Bq/M3 to under 20.

I bought a radon detector off Amazon, which confirmed I had a radon problem in my home 2 hours north of Toronto. I called Radon Gas Experts and Michael talked me back off the cliff, as I was rather upset. He wanted to let the radon detector calibrate over the next few days and said he would call back in 10 days.which he did. 2 weeks later he was at my home with his professional equipment and was able to tell were exactly the problem in the basement was located.
A week later, Michael installed the mitigation system and my radon readings went from 450 Bq to 10Bq.
I would recommend Michael very highly (as I have to all my neighbours).
He explained things to me step by step and was very knowledgeable, professional and communicative. And to me, even more important, he was not in a hurry to get to the next job site. He made sure I was good with the work that was carried out in my home!

Michael recently installed a radon mitigation system in our home (just before Christmas 2022) I found him to be highly informed and capable as well as exceptionally polite and considerate. He was meticulous in his work and his communication with us, throughout the job and in following up. I would urge anyone who is unaware of the radon status of their home to get it checked and I unreservedly recommend Michael for the work of remediation. Our level in the house was reduced from over 700 to under 15 Bq/cubic meter, which is about what it is in outdoor air. Thank you Michael!

I contacted Radon Gas Experts to get a radon mitigation system installed in my home. I was told that I would have to pay $500 for an inspection before they would even consider installing a system, despite my finished basement making it obvious that there was not much to inspect. I reluctantly agreed, and an inspector named Michael came out to "inspect" my home. The result of the inspection was that the radon was coming from under the ground, which I could have told them without spending $500.

The "unique" system they designed for my house was a basic radon mitigation system that could be seen anywhere on the internet. They also emailed me a generic pdf that explained the radon mitigation process (again nothing specific about my house and nothing I couldn't find on YouTube). Michael was confident the system would work, but would not put anything in writing.

I signed the contract that Michael had sent me for the mitigation system and gave them a deposit, but we could not proceed with the installation as the initial installation date on the contract was no longer valid. Michael then sent me another contract with a new installation date. Believing that the only change was the date, I modified the date on the original contract and sent it back to Michael. However, Michael later refused to proceed with the installation unless I paid the full cost of the installation upfront because I had made an "unauthorized modification" to the contract in his words. Upon comparing the two contracts he had sent me, I realized that he had made other changes to the second contract aside from the installation date, which were not disclosed to me. This misunderstanding could have easily been resolved over a phone call, but Michael ignored my requests for a call.

I am glad they refunded my deposit, but it still stands that I paid $500 for a worthless inspection. Overall, my experience with Radon Gas Experts was extremely frustrating and I would not recommend them to anyone.

Michael did an excellent job designing and installing our radon mitigation system. I would recommend his services to anyone requiring radon assessment and mitigation.

Michael was very easy to work with, honest, professional, and did great work. The price was more than reasonable. There was no nonsense and he got the job done quickly and efficiently, without any problems. The price was more than reasonable and was exactly as quoted, no hidden surprises.

Michael was amazing from the beginning and was very detailed in his explanation. To retain as much of our existing floorplan/cause little disruption, he went above and beyond on the installation. Within a few hours of the install, our radon measures dropped (from the thousands!) to a 1 in my main floor, a 21 in my basement. I can't begin to explain how much relief the install has brought to me.

Don't let the low number of reviews get in the way of calling them, instead, give them a call and have it quoted out. I am confident the price will be better, the install quicker and most of all: better done.

Michael was fantastic from start to finish. We initially started working with a different radon remediation company, but their techs couldn't agree on a solution for our very old basement. Michael clearly explained why he recommended the solution that he ended up implementing. He also was very patient with the amount of back-and-forth required with the person leading the excavation. He did his work quickly, advised us on likely outcomes, and checked in with us about the radon levels 24 hours after installation was complete, and a few days after that.

I stumbled across Michael's website when I was looking for the number to call back the orher radon gas company here in Central Ontario country country. I can't tell you how happy we were to have discovered an alternative to Mr. Radon. Not only did we save money going with Radon Gas Expert vs. Mr. Radon but Michael's in depth knowledge and approach to helping us deal with this concerning issue in the least obtrusive put our minds at ease. Give him a chance and you will not be disappointed
