From start to finish Dave was a real pleasure to work with.

Always very courteous, friendly, reliable and did great work.
We live out in the country and is not easy to find a great contractor and we really feel we lucked out with Dave.

We gutted and re did a full bathroom and it went smooth as can be. Always a dirty project when you do a tear down and Dave made sure it was clean every single day.

We will be working with Dave in the future on our next project throughout the house without a question.

Dave is great! He was always quick to respond to messages and kept me updated on when the materials were in. The whole project (for 4 windows) took him maybe a week. He also always cleaned up at the end of each day and left the work zone clean. If you need any renovations I would highly recommend using Dave.

After being ghosted by the contractor who started my shower project, Dave came in and had to undo all of the errors of the previous person. He was so I understanding of our situation and built us the shower I had envisioned! He was quick to respond and listen to my ideas, even the outrageous ones. Would I recommend him to others? I did, will do over and over! Can't wait for him to get started on my next project!

My brother and I hired Brouwer Home Renovations to complete a bathroom in our unfinished basement. Not only were they extremely professional, but went above and beyond when we needed assistance in picking up equipment, suggestions, and even an odd job or two that came up while they were working here. During the summer/fall of 2022 we had Dave in to complete a significant renovation to our main floor involving flooring replacement as well as a total kitchen and bathroom update.
Dave remained incredibly engaged and consultative throughout the project. Communication is one of Dave's many strengths and he was always sure to keep in touch about plans, work schedules, costing etc. His quotes were accurate and well put together and there were very few surprises during the reno. Inevitably, a few small things came up during demolition etc. and Dave was quick to get in touch and discuss the plan, always giving us the options we could consider along with the cost of each option. He also guided us (not handy people) through the entire process and made sure we knew what to shop for and when etc.
He was meticulous in terms of cleaning and tidy up at the end of each day and was just as diligent with the overall quality of his work. Dave frequently checked in to ensure we were happy with how it was coming together and he was always willing to listen and adapt anything that we raised (there wasn't a lot in this regard). Dave demonstrated his commitment to quality when he self identified things he wasn't happy with and went ahead and improved them. This is a guy you can trust with your home. We also appreciated that Dave manages any subcontractors that are involved - we only communicated with Dave which made it very streamlined for us.
We have just enjoyed a very busy festive season with our new main floor and we are delighted with the finished product! It is both functional and beautiful! We would absolutely make the same choice again and we plan to have Dave back out to the house for some additional work in the future. Would highly recommend!!

Dave came to my home to assess the area prior to the job, take measurements, and shortly after sent me a very reasonable quote for the job. He then completed the work in the time he had proposed. He was thorough, paid attention to detail to make sure his work was perfect, and that I was satisfied. I have already booked Dave for other renos in my home. As well, as I have been so extremely satisfied with Dave's quality of workmanship, and professionalism I have referred him to my nephews for renos they need.

After being burned in the past from sketchy contractors and being cynical of people in this field, Dave js an absolute God send.

He was able to bring our scruffy, half-baked plans to life and had the rare skill of knowing when to take the initiative and when to check back in. Dave communicated brilliantly throughout the project and was flexible and considerate to our needs.

Dave is not the person who goes gun-ho and then demands payment. He will discuss every option available and workshop it with you, all while considering your budgetary constraints.

It has been an absolute pleasure working with Dave and we can't recommend him highly enough. We will 110% go with him again in the future because he is competent, reliable and moreover, trustworthy.
