Aire One Central

Came across this company as they are in my neighbourhood. Replaced old furnace with a new one, installed air conditioning, and replaced old tank with state of the art tankless heater.

They were excellent to drum up new business, did the work quickly, and worked very hard to finish in the 2 days they initially quoted. Came back after a few days to finish some minor pieces.

After 8 months, one of the appliances broke and requires warranty work. I even know what part needs replacement after talking to the manufacturer. Have been trying to get a hold of Aire One for 4 weeks. They don't call back (I visited the location and talked to a guy there who promised someone will call back), don't keep the appointment they promised, and calls to the main guy who runs the shop (Fred) go unanswered.

I need to pay another company to do this replacement, which should be covered by the warranty.

Because of such poor customer service, I do not recommend them to anyone, if you do get a deal on the initial installation. Go to someone with a solid reputation instead.

They didn't do and/or didn't properly document doing a required pressure test on the furnace and have no proof they did. Now my furnace has been effectively "red tagged" and can't be serviced by anyone until a test is done at a cost of $150 or more. They initially said they would do the test at no cost and then inexplicably changed their mind. They then said they would do test for $250 IF I bought their annual maintenance plan. Deal with people who do the right thing and stay away from these guys.

Sloppy work. they refused to send any one out to repair. They were deceitful. Placed on hold and then never picked up. Tried repeatedly with no response Sent pictures. Acknowledged receipt of pictures but continued to do nothing. I paid in full. Apparently no leverage. I always was pleasant in my dealings with this company. I found the customer service to be non existent . I have never posted before but I felt very strongly that this company is not worth dealing with.
