Mike and team finsihed their wonderful work in our basement renovation and we are absolutley thrilled with the end result. The strengths of this team includ detailed custom workmanship, able to meet their time commitment even with new projects added during the reno and great suggestions throughout the entire process clearly stemming from experience. Although I could leave the review with only positive things to say I think it's important for future clients to be aware of the teams opportunities for growth (and I guarantee Mike is aware of these) which includ when working in an existing home it's important to minimize the negative effects of the renovation so that there is minimal clean-up. A tight fitting wall of plastic should have been secured in place, from floor to ceiling and on the sides so that the dust generated has minimal chance to negatively affect the items still in the home. Mike's team did their best to add plastic sheets but they were not tightly secured which resulted in a thick layer of dust on all items stored in our furnace room. Outside of this, I would suggest a daily checkin of the reno to ensure your requests are are being met as a couple of times the team made design decisions that I didn't agree on and their time could have been saved if signoff from the client occured first.
