ServiceMaster Restore of Vancouver

Had a fire start at our neighbours house, not our fault and our strata company hired service master. Poor communication and very unprofessional service. I do not want to deal with this company ever again and do not recommend this restoration company to anyone. Beware !!

Service Master started out on a good note but after I signed the service agreement, there was little to no service to be had. I would never recommend this company. For my bathroom ensuite, my vanity was supposed to be removed in order to demo the floor tile and then re-install tile. instead, they moved the fully loaded vanity, (incl. contents + a 7' x 3/4" piece of solid granite) out from the wall by literally dragging it across the floor. the resulting damage was worsened when they placed the vanity back against the wall and neglected to provide supplemental support. The floor tile they removed was actually supporting for the vanity and they made no effort to shim or support which left it literally hanging and eventually sagged and dropped. The cost to repair the vanity is $1000. When I addressed the damage and asked why they dragged it, I was told they would look into it and never heard back on the subject. The PM never answered his phone and required a detailed text message before he would receive a call. Also, their charges for work done, included fabricated charges, among other things. One such charge was for removing and resetting a door - although there is no door on the bathroom and charging for demolition that was done by others. Service Master is a terrible company to work with.

I am president of the Strata Council for a large strata property and earlier this year we hired ServiceMaster to clean all the gutters on our building. They only did half the job, missing out the open gutters on the 2nd and 3rd floor balconies which we clogged with debris. Since then we have made repeated attempts to get them to come back to finish the job only to to receive unfulfilled promises to meet their contractual obligation and in the latest email response just rudeness. Do not use this company as they are completely lacking in professional ethics and the quality of their work is poor.

Great carpet cleaning service provided by Raul. Arrived before scheduled time. Managed to get off all stains. Very friendly and polite. Professional behaviour and appearance. I do recommend him to all prospective customers

our strata complex hired service master to do all the dryer vents, first it went good but after they were finished the lint got all over the place and they asked us to clean up the mess with a vacuum, later had to breath in dust that was all over the place. not happy with there work. should have hired a company who can clean up after themselves the first time.

This was actually an insurance claim and I don't exactly know how much the total cost was. The contractor that my insurance company used was very helpful the entire time. They took the proper steps: site protect, brought in 4 or 5 de-humidifiers plus one or two air purifiers. They made sure the wall/site was dry before they start working on the woodwork part of the job. I'd give them 4 out of 5 on satisfaction. I'd be happy to recommend them to anyone.

These guys were great. Had to have the carpets cleaned before moving into the apartment. They were detailed and fast. Any question I asked was answered. After they finished they went around to make sure all spots were gone. Great service.

We contracted with ServiceMaster as a strata to have all the common property hallways of our complex cleaned. We selected ServiceMaster because they had the lowest quote. However, they were unable to get many of the marks/stains out of the carpet and the hallways were soaking wet for many hours. We had to rent dehumidifiers and run them in the hallways. I also personally don't prefer the smell of their products.

We have hired them twice and been happy both times. They did our condo and hallway carpets. The carpets came out in very good shape so we had them do the entire building.
