Robyn came in promptly when promised to complete the estimate, and came back the next morning to finish the job. She was prompt, friendly, efficient - and did a nice job of cleaning up afterwards. I really appreciated the tracker so we could see precisely when she would arrive so we weren't wondering if and when they would arrive. I also appreciated the opportunity to go and buy the fan I wanted instead of taking the one they would have provided. Fridge and freezer both stopped working. The technician - Bill, came out promptly; he inspected the fridge and diagnosed the issue. He indicated that my make and model of fridge has a particular issue with the compressor and while he could complete the repair (estimated $1200), it would be more cost effective to contact the manufacturer, that has extended the warranty for this issue. They were very professional all the way from booking to the repair. Max took the booking smoothly, was patient with me even with my lack of info about my fridge. Once scheduled, the tech called 30 minutes before arrival and did a quick check. Within 5 minutes, he gave me the issue, cost to fix and gave me the option to proceed or not. The experience we had was absolutely terrible! We DO NOT recommend this company. We've spent over $50,000 and still have an incomplete kitchen. We told Dan at Caledon Renovations, from the very beginning, that we needed the renovation completed as quickly as possible to sell and relocate for work. Dan told us that he could complete the work in 4 weeks. On June 3rd, 2024, demolition began on our whole main floor. Once demolition was complete, no one showed up for 2 weeks. We were constantly told there were issues sourcing product, finally, when he showed up with the floor tile, it was not what we had picked but decided to continue anyway to speed up the renovation. It is now August 7th and it still not done. There were several quality issues that were addressed several times and Dan offered to come back to fix these issues for a 3rd time - we declined. The final straw was when we had a subcontractor show up at our house demanding money or he would place a lean on our house. After speaking to this gentleman, we found out that Dan had not paid him and said it was because we owed money - we were paid up to date. When we told Dan we do not want to work with him because of the trouble he has caused, he offered a refund of $1200 for upper kitchen cabinet doors. Even though we were not satisfied with the refund amount, we agreed. We told him to pick up his sign from our home and give us the refund. That was 6 days ago and we've heard nothing from him.
