Following the re-landscaping of our backyard in 2023, Dutch Style returned to re-do the front of the house. This included a portico (roof extension over the front door), garden, lights, driveway, front and side entry steps, garden plantings, and irrigation. The change to the house is remarkable; day or night. Again it was a pleasure to work with Susan, Adam, A.J. and Jack. Susan and Adam conferred with us continually throughout the project, ensuring that we were on the same page at all times and assured of a great completed project.

I came across Talaska Inc through HomeStars and when I looked at the Google and HomeStars reviews, I was almost certain the reviews were fake, as I strongly believed there cant be a single bad review. However I decided to take a chance and call Ziggy for a quote. This led to one of our best home renovation experiences ever. From showing up to provide us with a quote to completing the project, Ziggy was a one man show who was respectful, professional and just amazing. He came home to provide us a quote and within 5 minutes he gave us a price that he stuck with till the end. He explained the process and took the time to answer any and all questions we had (and trust me there was quite a bit) and didnt push us to use his services but left the ball in our court. Appreciating this approach, we decided to book him to have our pool removed. He came on time as mentioned, had a G licensed gas fitter come in to disconnect the gas and cap it, an electrician to assist with the electrical, and then just went to work. It was unbelievable to see how much this man can do in a day on his own, still while stopping to answer our questions and accept our additional requests at no additional cost. He even decided to use sand instead of soil to fill up the area as we were going to put concrete there the year after and he said the sand will pack tighter and be better for when we put concrete. This was also at his own expense, not charging us extra for it. Within 2 and a half days, he had completed all his work, and where the machinery had to go over our and the neighbours lawn due to spacing, he ended up putting good quality topsoil and seeded it for the grass to grow back. The end result was a clean, yet really good demolition work that has set us up nicely for the concrete work the next year. In all, I would highly suggest Ziggy for any demolition work as he is truly the best at it and a great person to work with.

We recently hired New Way Interlocking to tackle the landscaping around our new pool, front, sides of house as well as jewel-stone on our front porch. Our property presented quite a challenge due to the complex elevation and grading requirements . From the very beginning, Mike and his entire crews meticulous approach and extensive experience were evident. The team was professional and paid attention to every detail, ensuring that the project not only looked stunning but was also structurally sound. Drainage and erosion control was carefully planned and executed properly which is crucial in a setting like this. The final result is a beautiful, solid, functional outdoor space that blends with the pool area and enhances our property's overall aesthetic. We were impressed with their commitment to quality. They showed up everyday on time when they said they would and worked exceptionally hard throughout the day. Special thanks to Tyler on the team - such a polite, hard working young man. The materials used were top-notch, and their attention to the smallest details, from design to stone placement, was outstanding. Overall, we couldn't be happier with the transformation of our pool area. The challenging grading was expertly managed, resulting in a landscape that is both beautiful and functional with no water pooling in any area. They also warranty and guarantee their work.
