We had two pergolas installed by this company in November 2020. While the installation itself went smoothly, our experience since then has been disappointing. Within four years, parts of two transparent UV-filter roof panels have broken and fallen off. We contacted the company in late 2024, but their responsiveness has been very poor. After multiple follow-ups, they quoted us C$800–1,000 for repairs—without inspecting the damage first. It's still unclear whether this quote covers just the broken sections or a full roof replacement. What’s especially frustrating is that we weren’t given any roofing material options at the time of installation. We later discovered that stronger, thicker polycarbonate sheets are widely available and commonly used. Had we been informed, we would have gladly paid more for better durability. Several friends' similar pergolas are going strong(10+ years) with sturdier sheets used. We expected more transparency and better service from a professional installer.

Best company you will ever hire! Phenomenal communication, workers showed up on time, they worked hard, they were respectful, clean and the quality of work, impeccable, they cared about the workmanship and it showed. The projects they did were large, hardscape all around my house, front, back (around my pool) and the sides of my house. I recommend them to everyone, I don't even price shop any more, I just call Trevor if I need anything and that is who I go with, his team is the best I have ever had the pleasure of working with. We hired Stone Landscaping to install a fence on our quite large property. We were blown away by Jovians propmptness, creativity, attention to detail, and workmanship. A difficult work site of varied elevations and obstructions, he carefully considered what we needed and made excellent recommendations that suited our needs perfectly. His attention to detail is second to none - his workmanship is perfect. We appreciated that he was on budget and cleaned up the job site daily. Highly recommend Jovian and Stone Landscaping.

We just bought a home and we wanted to put in a fence. This company came highly recommended by homestars and they did not disappoint. Larry is very professional and respectful giving us excellent advice on how to approach our fence. We had something in mind and he outdid himself. The fence is very sturdy and beautiful, and the deck looks brand new! We couldn't have asked for a better contractor, and whenever we have more work to do down the line, he will be the first we contact.

Things I liked: - Ali was polite and friendly and a pleasure to talk to. - Quick price over the phone, no site visit required for a simple job - He said availability was any time with a couple day's notice, and he came through on that. Honoring your word is important - the job got done quickly and with no problems Things that were less than perfect: - he had 2 assistants which made the house a bit crowded for such a small job - after the job was done he didn't light the pilot light on my water heater - he didn't supply a flex hose for the final connection to the gas stove. Once he saw the used stove that I bought, he asked if it came with a flex hose and was apparently surprised that I didn't have one. Apparently he doesn't carry extras on the truck so I had to go and buy one. A google search of "do new gas stoves come with flex pipe?" reinforces my suspicion that it was probably just his way of getting an extra 50 bucks on the job I am easy-going so I would recommend him just based on good availability and coming on the day we agreed to, that is more than you can say for a lot of contractors. That is why I overlooked the other issues. But some homeowners could be much more upset by the other issues.Latest review:
