We had two pergolas installed by this company in November 2020. While the installation itself went smoothly, our experience since then has been disappointing. Within four years, parts of two transparent UV-filter roof panels have broken and fallen off. We contacted the company in late 2024, but their responsiveness has been very poor. After multiple follow-ups, they quoted us C$800–1,000 for repairs—without inspecting the damage first. It's still unclear whether this quote covers just the broken sections or a full roof replacement. What’s especially frustrating is that we weren’t given any roofing material options at the time of installation. We later discovered that stronger, thicker polycarbonate sheets are widely available and commonly used. Had we been informed, we would have gladly paid more for better durability. Several friends' similar pergolas are going strong(10+ years) with sturdier sheets used. We expected more transparency and better service from a professional installer.

Sean and the Intact Roofing crew did an excellent job with replacing our roof shingles, installing new maxi-vents and skylight. Sean was extremely easy to work with. I really appreciated his solid/honest work ethic, punctuality and great communication. He kept us updated throughout the job, consulted with us on issues found during the removal of the old roof shingles and always checked in to make sure we were happy with the job as it progressed through to completion. The crew was very meticulous with the cleanup of the job site after it was done. Sean even came by the house the day after the job was done to address some questions that we had after the fact. I had a serious leak in out roof that turned out to require a full replacement, and I couldn’t be happier with the service I received. From the moment they came out to inspect the damage, they were honest, thorough, and extremely knowledgeable. The team walked me through the issues, gave me a clear and fair quote, and then got to work quickly. Not only did they replace the entire roof with great attention to detail, but they also went above and beyond by addressing a few other issues they discovered—at no extra cost. We were very happy with the service received from T.H. Oliver with our 16 year old water heater. Darren and Terry replaced the water heater in a morning. Very professional, office staff were great, answered any questions and Terry came back on Sunday to make sure the heater was working. Have used T.H.
