Hi I have been in the construction industry for nearly 20 years. I have worked my way up from labourer to lead hand . I worked on large commercial projects like schools and townhomes. While working on these projects I gained skills along the way like installing doors and hardware , fixing drywall . I do a lot of concrete forming as well like stairs side walks foundations walls suspended slabs. I am new to contracting as I had worked for the same boss for 20 years and he decided to retire early so I am going out on my own.I am the type of person that wants to impress and do my very best for.

I am 67 years old and been in the construction business since I was 16years old. My Father who was a builder in the 70’s, 80’s & 90’s taught all myself and 3 older brothers about carpentry & finish carpentry. Myself as the youngest and my brother are still quite actively working in this construction industry. I pretty much can work in any place in British Columbia as I don’t mind travelling abroad and working in remote areas. My specialty work is rough framing , finish carpentry, supervision for bigger projects and pretty much familiar with the whole process of start to finish with building structures. I’m not a person to brag about my qualifications but have to say which will speak for itself is the length of time I’ve been in this industry and become very knowledgeable. I’ve also worked for some companies that have a really good reputation and made a great name for themselves in which needing more information about myself I can give in a resume.

I specialize in cabinetry and fine finfinishing, however, over the last eighteen years of construction, Im 37 and physically fit and efficient. I have had to jump around a little to make sure all my bills are paid. I co owned a fairly successful painting company with my kids.Mom, we did a hundred and fifty houses. I'm a fourth year sheet metal worker, and I just finished doing my third full reno on a house. But with this one I completed it all on my own. It was for my mom in pendicton. I tore down sixty five feet of wall and raised it up to ten feet.And then added a thirty foot extension in the middle of the property to make a peeked roof on a trailer. Everything was redone, the only thing that stayed the same was the toilet and the only thing I didn't do was the drywall. I'm thirty seven years old. I am fit and efficient. I have all the tools to do just about every job, from small electrical and plumbing to full bathroom kitchen renos whatever you need. Communication is a very high priority for me. Doing a renovation of any scale is a big deal for any person. And I want it to be perfect for the customers so they can always be happy to show it off and use it every day without any regrets or remorse.
