Max is amazing! We discovered our hot water tank leaking on a Friday - we called him on Saturday evening (we were away for the weekend), he came to quote on the Sunday afternoon and replaced it on the Monday! He was knowledgable about the different options for replacement - we replaced a rental hot water tank with a purchased instant hot water unit - and had some really competitive prices. He came on time (actually, 15 mins early), worked hard for 7 hours and left the basement pretty clean. He also took away our rental hot water tank and returned it on our behalf. We will certainly be using him in the future when we need to replace our furnace and humidifier.

I called Dryer Vent Wizards for a simple dryer vent clean out based on a recommendation from another company, coupled with their homestars review. I'm so glad I did! Leighton came out and immediately discovered a fire hazard as the homeowners who had renovated the house prior to ourselves had used 3 different types of venting, causing a major fire risk. Leighton took photos of everything to show me (before and after), explained it all carefully, prepared a full competitive quote and then rectified the problem same day. He is extremely knowledgeable and was a pleasure to have working in the house. Highly recommend Dryer Vent Wizards to all.

I called Canadas restoration services after we found mould during a bathroom renovation. I called and Ari came out the next day and gave us a competitive quote (we had 2 other quotes too). Based on the homestars reviews and how knowledgeable he was, we booked his crew to come in two days later and complete the job. Really happy with the quality of the job they completed. The crew were punctual, polite and did an insanely awesome job of cleaning up after themselves! We were so happy that we went with Canadas Restoration Services and would recommend them to anyone!

I found Spring Home on Homestars she I was looking to have a ductless unit put into our bedroom. Cy came out immediately and talked me through the different options on units and installation information. He was thorough and knowledgable about the different units which made picking ann option easy for someone who doesn't know anything about them! The installation guys came out 3 weeks later - they did an amazing job with both the internal and external installation, protecting the house and clearing up. I had asked them to be finished slightly early on the day they came over as I had commitments elsewhere, so they brought another guy over last minute to make sure that they met my deadline. Afterwards, Cy not only reached out to me to ensure my comfort with the work completed, but also went ahead and registered the warranty on the units on my behalf so I literally had to do nothing! The unit lives up to exactly what Cy sold it to us as ....quiet, efficient and cold! Would highly recommend Cy and Spring Home for any Heating/Cooling work....will certainly be using them again in the future as needed.

Fantastic! We called Dmitri to come and repair our main shower cubicle which was leaking through to the kitchen - our house had been 'flipped' previously and the old home owners had compromised in quality. The shower floor was graded incorrectly leading to the water pooling and this started to leak. We had reached out to another company who had been recommended to the work and they were not interested I the job - it was not a big or sexy one. Dmitri came by and quoted a very reasonable price given the amount of detailed work there was to do. He dealt with finding tiles to repair the floor so I didn't to have to deal with that. The work was completed to a very high standard are we are extremely pleased with results. Not only that, Dmitri called me a couple of weeks after the job to check in and make sure that everything was good and we were happy. We are planning a new kitchen backsplash in the next few months and we will be calling Dmitri for that job too. I could not recommend Dmitri more highly.

We hired Archie after a positive review by a friend and after having read reviews on Homestars. It was the wisest decision we made. Our project was to do two new window cutouts in the dining room and study and then replace the front door. Archie not only provided a clear and transparent quote, but he stood by this price after work started and one of the cutouts was found to be more complex than originally thought. Archie and his crew were here 4 days from 9am until 7pm and the quality of their work was fantastic - the framing around the windows is spectacular and the front door is excellent. In addition, Archie and his crew took great care in cleaning up and taking care of my house - which is not the case with most workmen! Very highly rate Sobol ! You will not be disappointed.

Istvan is the real deal. We conatcted him after reading his reviews on homestars for 2 built in bookcases either side of the fireplace. We were not disappointed. The workmanship is phenomenal and the finished product looks incredible. Istvan is extremely professional and the bookcases were delivered on time and on budget. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for high quality workmanship.

Inch by Inch Inspections (Tony Muscat) conducted a home inspection for the house we were buying and a pre-sale inspection for the house we were selling. He did an absolutely outstanding job on both properties. He is incredibly knowledgible in not only inspecting houses and discovering possible issues, but also in clearly explaining the severity of the issues and potential remediation solutions. His reports are incredibly detailed and indepth including photos of potential issues so nothing is misunderstood. I would absoluely use Tony again and would recommend him to anyone looking for a home inspection.
