I accidentally damaged a basement radiator pipe when trying to move a new fridge. After shutting off the required valves to stop water spraying everywhere, leaving me with no heat in the basement. I called Priority Plumbing and they were there the same day and fixed the issue. Karine booked the appointment and was very pleasant and had a great attitude. And, best of all, she followed up at each step. Although it was more costly than I had expected, they explained that the entire system needed to be drained, repaired and then refilled which was a 3/4 day venture. Gary was our plumber and he arrived promptly and was very courteous. He explained every step and gave me some good background on how my heating system worked. He took the time to point out what each of the valves did leading into and out of my furnace so I could more confidently deal with any short term emergencies. Gary repaired the pipe and also removed the radiator at our request given that we had it turned off most of the time (too hot in that area) - so it freed up some additional space as well. Equally importantly, Reliable stands behind its work. The next morning we discovered that 2 of our basement rads had stopped working. Gary was dispatched for later that morning and spent an hour to get them back up and running by solving an airlock problem at no charge. Very impressed and happy with service and people at Priority!

Since we moved into the Beach a few years ago, Peter has always been our guy when plumbing issues or needs arose. We recently needed to replace a leaky outdoor tap. Peter once again demonstrated why he will always be our plumber. As expected, he replaced our tap quickly and professionally and explained everything we'd need to know about the water shutoff as well as taking care of the tap and pipe. He then noticed an unused tap at the other end of the house and proactively took a look at that one. He explained that it had been in use (presumably by the previous owners of our home) and the pipe had burst one the winter and was never repaired (the water had been properly shut off when that happened). When we asked how much extra it would be to repair the second tap, he said that he'd be able to do it within the original timeframe that he'd allotted to the first tap. As a result, there would be no extra charge beyond any new hardware that might be required. In a few more minutes after poking around and repairing pipes in some crawl space, he fixed up that tap. We now have two working outside taps - one for the front and one for the back – Very pleased! As usual, Peter went the extra mile - all with a smile, professionalism and great communication. Highly, highly recommend Balsam Plumbing.
