In 2007, we were building a garage and needed a pad poured. We met with several contractors and decided to go with Rugged Edge; BIG MISTAKE! Although the job was completed, it was not done properly. They didn't order enough concrete the first pour so they had to wait on another truck which took another 2 hours; the pad was poured in two stages and I don't think they bonded the first to the second. The floor cracked in the first 6 months after. The pad slopes to the rear of the garage not the front as we had agreed to; all the run-off from the vehicles in the winter now runs to the back wall and pools because there is no where for the water to go. We tried to no avail to get in contact with them again to address our concerns. They would not return calls or emails. Stay away from these guys if you see them, not a company I would recommend to anybody.

We had a few tree stumps in our yard after a few years. We were planning a landscaping project and needed to have them removed. Got Stump came out and gave an estimate, which we went with. He came promptly and had them ground down in no time at all. Brad was very friendly, courteous and professional. I would recommend this company to everyone.

We renovated our kitchen in 2007 and had Floform do our Countertops. Although we had some delays due to problems with the factory shipping, I am completely satisfied with the result. I absolutely LOVE my quartz!

We had J&J Paving do our driveway in 2007. Overall, I am satisfied with the job they did. We have developed a few low spots due to parking on the asphalt in the summer but was told to expect it so it is not a huge concern. J&J guaranteed their work for one year but haven't had to call them back.

In December of 2010, our furnace quit working a week or so before Christmas. We called a few places and decided on Rob's Albertan. They came out quickly to assess the problem, fixed it and determined that we needed to replace our furnace. An appointment was made and a rep came out to give us an estimate, at which time we decided to replace our aging water heater as well. Installation of our new furnace and tankless heater was done a few days before Christmas. The installers were great, knowledgeable and fast. Everything was completed the same day. Since then, we had a couple of issues but they have come out quickly each time and taken care of the problems.

In May of 2008, we contacted All Weather Windows for a quote on replacing the windows and doors in our home. When the sales rep came out he gave us a quote which was out of our budget, but we decided to install a patio door and the main window in the livingroom. The sales rep was the only saving grace with our experience. He was very thorough in giving us options and created two items that suited our needs perfectly. This is where it all goes downhill. In July of 2008 both items were installed. The patio door was damaged and has had issues with the seal every winter since it was installed. The first winter reached very cold temperatures and the side light glass cracked due to the installer nicking the glass with the nail gun. We have called them back many times to fix the door seal issue, but it remains the same as each installer does a different fix each time to no avail. After the installation of our main window, we noticed a small scratch on the inside of our picture window (triple pane w/ sunstop) and notified them of the problem. They ordered new glass and weeks later come out to replace it only to find damage on the replacement glass and even the installer said he wouldn't put it in. New order was to be put in place. During this time they lost all their paperwork and nothing was done. No records of our original service call or an order for replacement glass. Months go by and nothing is done. The main window was finally relaced 3 times before they got it right. After all of the damaged product, missing paperwork, poor service and months worth of headaches, in November of 2008, we had settled on a 10% refund and a 10% off future purchases and renovations; which we will never use as I will not be dealing with All Weather Windows again.

Company Response

Tammy, I was very sorry to hear your recollections regarding the service levels you received from us in 2008. We are a company that strives for continous improvement and customer satisfaction is our number one priority. During that approximate timeframe we were faced with some challenges during our relocation, but I certainly would never excuse any of the issues you recall. I would like to reassure you that this is not reflective of the experience our customers have from that time period and it is certainly not reflective of our service today. If you are still having issues with your patio door, I invite you to contact me personally at 780-468-2989.
