If you are searching for a paint contractor, when you find JP Finishes, look no further; your search is over! We had four rooms painted by Jonathan and crew and an entry hall. If the quality of the work and the pleasure we get from being in these rooms were an Olympic event, the gold medal is theirs. If it was graded like a school project: A+. I recommend JP Finishes absolutely.
We hired Stone Landscaping for two projects: replacing a railway-ties and river rock retaining wall with stone and, a year later, putting in matching stone steps to replace rotting wood steps. All work was done as costed and completed on time. In the year since the wall was built, passerby now have more to admire than the garden that is our front lawn. If anyone were to ask me for a recommendation for stonework, I would tell them to go with the best: Stone Landscaping and Construction. Any other choice would be, at best, second best.

Replacing deteriorating bricks in our [almost] century-old house.
About 60 bricks on our exterior walls were succumbing to the ravages of spalling--deterioration due to water damage/freeze-thawing. Some of these bricks were on corners that may have required the removal of a gate in one case and the porch railing in the other, and this was a matter of some concern for us. The work was done in one day, a day when we were out of town. When we returned, the spalled bricks had been replaced; the work area had been left as clean--if not cleaner--as when we had left that morning, and neither the gate nor the porch railing had to removed to get the work done. Not only would I recommend Turnbull to a friend, and would be be adamant that Turnbull do the masonry work required; to hire any other company would be at best to going with second-best.
