Affordable Woodworking is our go-to company for quality, professional projects. We recently moved to a condo and needed custom shelving to hold all of our travel memorabilia. It also needed to house our TV and all of the electronic devices attached to it, with drawers to store our DVDs. In addition, we had a small nook in the bathroom that we wanted to enclose for extra storage. 8 hours after arrival - all was complete and fantastic! This is the 5th project that Richard has done for us - from a custom office, wine and cool storage shelving, a wall unit with a built in bench and hidden cupboard and wine storage, to having all dark wood furniture painted white, to this new project. Our move was complicated: it involved bringing 7 pieces of furniture to a painting company 4 weeks before our move and then picking it up, coming to our house and packing 4 floors of furniture and boxes and delivering it to our new condo. It got complicated when we didn't get our keys until 6 p.m. and weren't allowed to move in after 5 (condo rules). Even the furniture painter was extremely impressed with how well protected the furniture was. Augusta movers were professional; extremely hard working; and very amenable and flexible to make sure we got our furniture delivered as quickly as possible. They came the following day after another job - and moved our stuff in. Not a single thing was damaged; no scuffs; no broken glass; nothing! We would use them again in a flash. They wrapped all pictures and furniture. I can't say enough about them. I think you could trust them with any type of furniture. They will do whatever they can to make the move successful!

I sent affordable woodworking a design of my plans. Richard came to our house to measure and review the space. Less than 2 months later, he installed the shelving and totally transformed our room. Everything turned out exactly as desired. He fit it shelving perfectly around bulkheads and electrical outlets; built a bench with drawers; built a hidden liquor cabinet. Friends and family are amazed!

Over the years I've had many cleaning services - but over time the quality of work deteriorated. That has not been my experience with the home cleaning team. I'm completely satisfied. Every two weeks, our home gets thoroughly cleaned - taking a lot of pressure off of our family. I think they are terrific!

I sent out a design for a large office cabinetry project to 4 companies. Richard from Affordable Woodworking was the only to reply. The design was very detail-oriented. Richard discussed with me, all of the nuances of the design and came up with solutions for some of the complexities. I went to his shop and was able to select styles and finishes - from the floor moulding to the crown moulding. It took 3 days to install - and is such a phenomenal, exceptional, and beautiful office. The quality is top notch. The attention to detail, incredible. He also built a shelving system and tall cabinets in the bathroom - without designs. He delivered on time; worked around my schedule. Cleaned up after the work was done. Was wonderful to work with. Asked me for input as needed. Provided advice based on his experience. I would not hesitate to recommend Richard for any job - residential, commercial... Absolutely thrilled!

We wanted to have our new house painted prior to moving in. We made an online request and scheduled a meeting at the new house to get a quote. The appraiser arrived on time. Was very professional. Gave us a decent quote. Kimberly followed up with scheduling the painting. The painters showed up on time; stayed late to get the job done in two days to facilitate our move. Did a very professional and excellent job. I highly recommend them. No need to go elsewhere. Very happy with the whole process, cost, and outcome!
