AMAZING WORK! I communicated with Andres over a number of weeks for my reno project. He was very responsive with a prompt, detailed quote that was competitive (as I had contacted more than 5 companies). I went with him and I'm so glad I did! He arrived on time this past weekend and worked quickly and efficiently to TRANSFORM THE WALL TILES IN THE MAIN BATHROOM. I MEAN, the before and after is just STUNNING! He also went ABOVE and BEYOND to do other minor caulking/sealing repairs in BOTH washrooms at NO extra charge! I was literally stunned. I tried to pay him for this extra work, but he wouldn't accept payment. INCREDIBLY THANKFUL & APPRECIATIVE for those une, unexpected little touches. Andres is a hard worker who delivers EXCELLENT RESULTS (see before/after pics attached) and I ABSOLUTELY recommend his services above all others!! You won't regret it! Thank you so much Andres!!! :)

WOW where do I even begin! FIRST OFF I WANT TO SAY THANK YOU NOAH it was an absolute pleasure working with you and Andrew to bring my reno vision to life. Noah was recommended to me by my realtor. He was one of 4 general contractors that gave me a quote and from the the get-go I had good vibes. Noah's quote was detailed, competitive and his overall vibe/spirit was calm, quiet and knowledgeable. This was my first ever big reno project so I was extremely frazzled but Noah put me at ease and was a huge source of mental support for me through out the entire, very stressful reno process. Noah gave me a budget + approx timeline and we finished ON TIME and WITHIN BUDGET. Through the ups and downs, Noah stayed extremely patient and solution focused AT ALL TIMES. He and Andrew also worked very tirelessly and creatively to meet ALL my numerous expectations - and let me tell you, I was VERY VERY nit-picky. We also changed materials countless times, at times last minute, because sadly I had moments where I was just dissatisfied with my initial choice ie lighting, mirrors etc... But Noah never ever complained, he and Andrew always just rose to the occasion to fix and do whatever needed to be done. I APPRECIATE THEIR FLEXIBILITY I also have to add that they were extremely respectful of the condo board's reno rules ie removed all garbage off-site, worked during the allowed hours etc. The condo board praised me today for how thoughtful they were which is important! Last but not least : THE RESULTS. I THINK THE BEFORE AND AFTRT PICTURES SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES. I MEAN THEY EXECUTED AND EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS. just AMAZING work!! You absolutely cannot go wrong with Noah, he truly is GREAT at what he does and I promise you will not be disappointed. HE'S THE REAL DEAL FOLKS.

WHAT A JOURNEY! My realtor recommended Bax Canada Ltd and they DELIVERED. From Louie in the design team, to Yelena at front desk to Elaine with the stone company, to the cabinet delivery men and installers....EVERYONE WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND to execute and make my vision come to life. Louie is very funny/chill but extremely knowledgeable and was always willing to work creatively with me within my budget. He is very responsive, adjusted his design when the appliances kept changing, always had a solution to every problem I threw his way & even helped me find a reliable external contractor to install my new low profile microwave in my new kitchen. Literally, Louie saved me so many times! THANKS LOUIE Yelena listened to me worry and fret many times, without complaint. She worked hard to advise me on the payment plan and pushed up the countertop installation. THANKS YELENA!! Elaine and her team were speedy and efficient with installing the countertops. THANKS ELAINE!! The end result is everything looks AMAZING, remained WITHIN budget and was delivered ON TIME!!! You literally cannot go wrong with Bax their work is flawless, pricing is excellent and I truly look forward to working with them again on my next big reno project! Rosine.

What can I say except these guys are the best. I emailed Ivan on a Tues I believe, he provided a timely quote for a setup of 3 items (bed frame, TV stand and night stand), the assembler Nikolai came on time that same Saturday and worked late into the evening setting everything up without complaint. He was extremely polite and helpful, packed up all the discarded cardboard in an easy to dispose of manner, clean and just did an amazing job. I will use these guys all day every day.

OMG - RAFI (tech) from Cosmopolitan SAVED MY LIFE tonight!! THE WHOLE MESS alll started today around 1:30PM when my roomie informed me we had NO hot air (and later on NO cold air) blowing from the vents in our 2-yr old, 1800 sq ft townhouse, in these FREEZING temperatures we have in the GTA. Immediately I went into a PANIC and started dialing numbers like a telemarketer. The original HVAC installer & my builder told me the Tarion Warranty was up, so I was SOL. The furnace manufacturer told me their Parts Warranty was up AND they don't provide service, so I was SOL. From about 3PM-6PM SOLID - I mustve called 1001 different contractors NON STOP. I'm talking reputable ones I found from Homestars as well as questionable companies I found via Google searches (YES I KNOW crazy talk but i was DESPERATE to find someone!). I was pretty sure the blower/fan was busted based on what my builder told me. I was desperate to find service TONIGHT so my pipes would not freeze (as I suspected the furnace went bust sometime LATE LAST NIGHT). TO ME - it's an emergency - yet I heard one sorry excuse after the next: "Oh we don't have anyone available til tomorrow" / "Oh Brampton is too far" / "Oh we're really busy right now"... puuuure SONG & DANCE!!. I was like WTF - how do people expect to make MONEY in the FURNACE REPAIR business in the DEAD OF WINTER if you don't have TECHS AVAILABLE IN THE GTA 24/7!? I didn't even CARE the cost of diagnostic - I JUST WANTED TO FIND SOMEONE WHO COULD COME *that same night* and hopefully GIVE ME BACK MY HEAT! SO finally around 5:30-5:45pM I found Cosmopolitan's info on here. I called and spoke to a guy (can't remember his name) over the phone. I'm not gonna pretend, for some reason he sounded a little sketchy BUT I still let him take down all my info, once he told me the cost of diagnosis ($99+tax) and said he'd call me back within 30 mins TOPS IF he had a tech available tonight. AT THIS POINT - I was NOW waiting for callbacks from 3 different HVAC companies (all on Homestars). YET - a mere 10-15 mins later - the Cosmopolitan guy CALLED BACK! He said he had a tech that could come within 2 FRICKIN HRS> I was ecstatic. He reconfirmed the cost of diagnosis & payment options (MC/VISA/cash/check) and when I asked, he said he could/would ask the tech to call me when he was on his way. About say... 45 mins to an hour later - the tech (RAFI) called to say he was en route and about 15 mins away. I gave him directions and he arrived literally within 15 mins, JUST LIKE HE SAID. He was young, SUPER FRIENDLY, very mindful/considerate (asked if he should take his shoes off or keep them on etc...) and EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE. As he was opening up the furnace (which he said is actually an AIR HANDLER since my heat/hot air comes from my rental hot water tank) he told me each step of the way what he was doing, kinda like semi-teaching me. As a nerd/bookworm I was very intrigued. Halfway through he told me it could be one of 2 things - either a blown fan/motor ($650 installed) or a faulty compressor ($220 installed). THEN he did some thingymajiggy and BAM the furnace motor/fan/blower came ON - SWEET MUSIC TO MY EAR!! He also mentioned that given the time of day (evening) and how ANXIOUS I was to get heat, other SHADY contractors PROBABLY MIGHT have charged me for the MORE expensive repair by purposefully NOT checking to see (like he did IN FRONT of me) WHETHER OR NOT the fan/motor could be "manually" started - and instead they would've ordered & charged me for installation of a brand new part I didn't even NEED! Lemme tell you I was SHOCKED but EXTREMELY grateful for this tidbit of info and his HONESTY/FAIRNESS. GOD KNOWS... other contractors had quoted me $400-$600 for PARTS ONLY for a blown fan/motor. SO again I was and AM super happy & IMPRESSED that RAFI saved me money by his HONESTY & INTEGRITY - AND GOT MY HEAT WORKING again THE SAME NIGHT!!!!!!!! Literally... RAFI was in/out of my house within 15-20 mins TOPS. SO FAST. When he got to my house, the temp was 18 deg C AND FALLING rapidly. He's been gone almost 2H and it's already a TOASTY 23 deg C AND RISING. THANK GOD!!!! I would DEF DEF recommend Cosmopolitan Mechanical Services and DEF will be using them again the future! SIMPLY AMAZING, FAST, FAIR SERVICE!! - a NEW FOUND & LOYAL customer.

A few weeks ago my tenants told me they had a NEW kitchen faucet leak as well as a bathroom faucet leak/drip (long standing). On the word of mouth of my sister, I arranged for a quote & repair with BOSCO HOME SERVICES. After my appointment was setup - I read MULTIPLE reviews on here, and despite noticing somewhat high prices eg $400-600 for similar repair work, I took heart & comfort in the glowing reviews about one of their techs "M"- and thus in speaking with their dispatcher I requested "M" specifically, which they happily accommodated. When "M" finally arrived to my tenants home the day of, he was punctual which I appreciated. After about 30 minutes he called me back and described in detail the problems/repairs needed to fix both faucets. And then - I KID YOU NOT - without batting an eyelid, in the most SERIOUS but kindest voice EVER - he gently quoted me... (drum roll please)... wait for it..... $1000+TAX (incl parts & labour) TO REPLACE THE KITCHEN FAUCET as well as.......!! Another $1100+TAX to replace the BATHTUB FAUCET! Yes - that is a grand total of OVER $2000 PLUS TAX to replace 2 leaky faucets. I literally DIED on the spot. UNBELIEVABLE. When I repeatedly asked why the price was so high (because I had budgeted in MY mind b/t $400-$800 ALL IN for BOTH repairs) M explained seeing as it's an old condo my factory original Delta kitchen faucet was hardwired directly into the condo's water supply line THUS they would have to "cut" the lines and put a new valve adapter etc... but at least I'd be getting a SPANKING NEW fancy faucet with sprayer. He also said the Mixet bathtub faucet was old, parts could not be found to repair it so it'd have to be replaced - and this would mean cutting tile, lots & lots of "labor" intensive work YADDA YADDA. I hate that L word! UGH. THUS a quote for 2 GRAND for 2 faucet REPLACEMENTS. I think I was silent on the phone for a good 10 seconds - BREATHLESS. AND it didn't end there. In fact, when "M" noticed I was still choking in silent despair over the skyrocket pricing - he kindly OFFERED me a way to "save" money - i.e. me paying out another $70-$100 for some annual "Gold" package they have for repeat customers - which would end up "saving" me about $100-$200 off the current estimated work. AT THAT POINT - it was just TOO MUCH. I could not WAIT to come off the phone. AND YET the conversation dragged ON and ON as I tried bravely to see if repairs could be done (instead of replacement) - and M continued to try to UPSELL me on the "Gold" package AS WELL AS the actual work.Mike ALSO said it would take "the better part of a day" for ALL the work to be done. SMH. Finally after being on the phone with M for over 30 minutes I authorized him to charge my credit card for the diagnostic/ assessment fee ONLY ($55). I eventually had to RUSH him off the phone with some false promise of needing to talk the pricing over with my co-owner/partner (my mom). YEA RIGHT. But instead - I went back Homestars.com - found another legit/reputable contractor w/ equally rave reviews - and the NEXT DAY they did they replaced the kitchen faucet for $180+ tax in LESS THAN 30 MINUTES, and quoted me $450 to fix the bathtub faucet. YES YOU HEARD ME - I ended up doing 1 of 2 of the repairs for about 1/5 of the price Bosco Home Services quoted me!! THAT TO ME - is just CRAZY. And I really do NOT understand why or HOW BOSCO quoted me so INSANELY high for their services - compared to what I actually paid! TO ME - I feel like they tried to pull a fast one on me. Maybe because I am a landlord? Regardless, I am not Donald Trump or Bill Gates to just be spending crazy money on minor repairs. SO NO WONDER I am SO NOT impressed with them, I will never use them again, will NEVER refer them to ANYONE ever and my sister has been turned off from them completely. 2 customers lost in 1 shot! EXCELLENT SERVICE! I joined just so I could write a review. A few weeks ago my tenants told me they had a NEW but non urgent kitchen faucet leak as well as reminded me about a previous bathtub faucet leak/drip (long standing). So solely on the word of mouth of my sister, I arranged for a quote & repair with a company “A”. When the “A” tech/plumber arrived to my home several days later - I KID YOU NOT – I was quoted $1000+TAX (incl parts & labour) FOR REPLACEMENT OF THE LEAKY KITCHEN FAUCET as well as another $1000+TAX to replace the BATHTUB FAUCET! Yes - $2000 PLUS TAX to replace 2 faucets. I literally DIED on the spot. Simply unbelievable. When I asked why the price was so high the “A” tech/plumber explained seeing as it's an old condo unit my factory original Delta kitchen faucet was hardwired directly into the condo's water supply line THUS they would have to "cut" the lines and put a new valve adapter etc... but at least I'd be getting a SPANKING NEW fancy faucet with sprayer. I was also informed that my Mixet bathtub faucet was SO old, parts could not be found to repair it so it'd have to be replaced - and this would mean cutting tile, labor intensive work. After paying the diagnostic fee I felt despaired, immediately came off the phone and went onto Homestars.com - and found my ALL NEW FAV contractor with RAVE reviews - Vlad of Mr Plumber. He answered on my FIRST phone call. I described told to him IN DETAIL the problems as above, and he said he could come the next. The next morning, he in fact sent his tech Igor who then replaced 1 of the 2 faucets (the kitchen faucet) for ONLY $180 + tax (using not 1 but 2 valve adapters) AND quoted me only $450 to fix the bathtub faucet (parts & labor included!!). Literally - 1/5th and 1/2 of the prices I had been quoted JUST a DAY BEFORE me. You can imagined how relieved I was (but shocked at the disparity in pricing :S) SO FOR THE SAVINGS AND HONESTY I received, I am SO HAPPY to have found Mr Plumber and will use them AGAIN AND AGAIN. I will go tell it on the mountain. His company did great work and charged FAIR & REASONABLE prices.
