Mike at Pro Insulation was hired to complete attic and spray foam insulation. They sub contracted the work out. The workers came entered the home on a day I wasn't aware of and without my consent. Everyone was advised that proper safety gear, masks, vaccination status or covid tests are required before entering. They did not provide this. The work was very poor. The machine wasn't working and they had spray foam all over my house. The 2 workers started arguing with each other because the one guy wasn't working fast enough so he left. They filled up my garbage disposal bin with spray foam without my consent. They didn't advise that no one should enter the home during or after spray foam. They worked without valid WSIB, without a business license and without providing a valid COI. They cut 5 electrical wires, and did not advise. These has to be repaired/replaced. They never cleaned the job site They spray foamed all over the floors and drywall They sprayed a section of wall that the permitted new electrical panel area was to be installed, that was clearly marked and that they were advised not to spray They didn't complete the job and sent multiple different teams They are not suing me for the incomplete, poor quality work. They were paid monies for the work completed which was the removal of the attic insulation

This company was hired to increase water flow and pressure, relocate the water meter and relocate the storm and sewer drain outside. I went from 25LPM to 18LPM after they changed the water pipes. They installed the new sewer drain inside the house in the middle of the room without my consent or knowledge. They cemented it after telling them not to do so. They did this because the storm drain was in the way however, they should have asked. Then they didn't re locate the meter as requested. I asked them to repair the work and they refused, then they were slandering me on my home job site and suing me for unprofessional inadequate work they did.

I hired Mr. Collins of Collins General Contracting or Collins Contracting to complete front of house renovations, demolishing an existing porch, excavating, new footings, foundation, concrete porch and steps, waterproofing, new window cut outs and masonry work. I provided him with a large deposit of $5000 months before the work started. The work was supposed to commence end of July. When he finally started(prior to starting) he asked for a 50% deposit which was unexpected. I provided an additional $5000. Week 1 went by and he came for a few hours to block up the old cold storage room door, and did it incorrectly. He came back a week later and didn't have the proper tools to demolish the porch, his staff also didn't show up. However, the first thing I asked him to complete was the window cut outs so that my framers can finish inside, I can Drywall and sprayfoam. I said this several times to him. He finally started doing the masonry work but left it in disarray. After 5 weeks of coming sporadically and for only a few hours at a time and failing inspections I had to call him out on the not only delays but quality of work. He didn't follow and good best practices nor did he follow the engineer permits shop drawings. I'm not an expert but even I noticed deficiencies. I asked a few other experts that came out of the goodness of their hearts and advised it was a mess. -put the lintels in backwards -used the wrong size and thickness lintels - was supposed to use 2 lintels - didn't support structural integrity of house property - didn't properly block up old cellar door per drawings - didn't He used the wrong block -he didn't dig for weeping tiles or install them properly - he broke the sewer clean out and storm drain pipes and stuffed them with Garbage bags - he put rebar too high and therefore porch would not sit proper with grade and steps - he did not remove the existing leaking old cold room Foundation wall - he didnt properly waterproof

Very poor quality windows, workmanship, quality, installation and customer service. Day 1 of Windows, they were scratched, damaged, not welded properly, short jambs, large gaps and black paint overspray on the inside of the windows. I contacted the company and I did not hear back. These windows are only a week old after being partially and incorrectly installed by Moncada. Very disappointed. They have not honoured any warranty at this point. I will update accordingly.

Please do not use this company. Anthony is not an honest person. The measurments were incorrect as you can see in the photo with a 2.5" gap but Anthony will not acknowledge his mistake. The profile of the window is not as we requested. It took 16 weeks not 8 weeks as first promised. Being late we asked Anthony multiple times to please come out and confirm with drywallers the measurments...he said he would come but never came. There is black paint on the inside of the windows as well. The windows are damaged and scratched. The jams on 4 windows are too short. The basement windows do not have jams. There is black paint on the inside of the windows. The installation is not completed. He wants to put a lien on my house but he hasn't finished the project so how can I pay him the balance. This was by far the worst vendor we have ever hired.
