We initially inquired with Brian two years ago but ended up putting off our improvements until this fall. It seemed like a no-brainer that we would re engage with Brian and we're so glad we did. His pricing was fair, his responses were timely and most of all his quality of work was top notch. The work we had completed included some tuckpointing, brick repair, removing a stainless steel chimney/bricking it in and having a window filled in. Although the chimney was a part of the initial estimate it may have proved to be a little more work so it was very much appreciated when they honored their original quote. Brian's son, David worked throughout the day and even came back in the evening to complete some interior work. Right down to cleanliness of the job site, no detail seemed too small. Vule and his team were a breeze to work with. We'd shopped around for new tile installers but we needn't look further than the quick responses afforded to us by Vule. Under a tight timeline, with a relatively small project (backsplash), we were pleased that Vule was so accommodating to fit us in. We used a marble hexagon tile in sheets of 12x12. From their promptness on day one and care for cleanliness, it was easy to take their advice when we needed suggestions on grout, etc. Checkins were very much appreciated and their follow-up after was a welcome gesture, especially after a large reno with many other uncooperative trades. Even when there was a tiny area that could be perfected further, Vule and his team were extremely responsive and we continue to be grateful for the experience we had from start to finish. I only wish I used these gentlemen for our bathroom months prior. Thanks Vule. Continued success!

We had used another lawn care company last year and weren't overly impressed with their customer service and therefore, started looking around for a new company and landed on Hometurf. Already this season, they've impressed us enough to know that making the switch was worth it. Over the course of the winter our backyard's gate pull (plastic rope) broke and we received a note upon their first visit that they completed the front yard but could not access the backyard. I was disappointed we missed this opportunity and figured that was that. Happily though, ten days later they returned unannounced (gate still not fixed) but because of renovations there was access to the backyard so they finished the job we paid for. Thrilled! It's been said that patience is a virtue, and David has it in spades. As new home owners and renovators, it's easy to think that your questions are foolish or naive, but David's prompt professional approach always helped put us at ease. He was flexible with our timeline from first consultation to adjustments during demolition. After interviewing an architect and a reno coach, David's background as a designer made the most sense for our project. He captured our vision of returning our 1950's 1.5 storey bungalow into the quaint arts and crafts style home that we desired. While it was unfortunate that we couldn't fulfill some of the design suggestions due to our budgetary constraints, David was sensitive to the fact that we had to make certain concessions and was helpful with the adjustments. One piece of advice for fellow new renovators is to engage a contractor early in the process to ensure your drawings match your budget. Keep in mind that some contractors might prefer to begin the process once the drawings are complete. With that said, we can't say enough about David's ability to be ever present. By email, phone or dropping things in the mail, he exceeded expectations. While we recognize that he is an extremely busy professional, it was not uncommon to feel as though our little project was always top of mind. Finally we would be remiss, if we didn't mention David's persistence with the permitting process. He regularly followed up with the city, and helped to keep the lines moving. Thank you David for enduring our project with a cool and calm demeanour. It was very much appreciated!
