Booked in November, service performed in February, but we'll worth the wait. Our trees were trimmed, our hedges cut down in a 2 day operation. All stuff cleaned up, except for some branches falling into the neighbor's yard, but Jeremy took care of that on his Sunday off. Highly recommended.

Cable had broken on door and made it impossible to open. Reg came as promised and replaced cables, spring and pulleys in 1.5 hours and my door operates perfectly. Good job.

With ongoing issues with our water drainage, I found water in the basement around a fridge and our water heater. Thinking it was one of these, I called Knoght. Turns out the problem was a blockegae in the sewer drain caused by roots invading the pipe. It was cleared and everything back to normal within 2 hours. Turns out it was on City land and I should have called 311. But, all good, service was prompt, the problem identified and corrected. I like Knight and think they are professional and polite and charge reasonable rates.

After a hot water and furnace inspection and service, I received a quote on some plumbing work (fix leak, install pressure reducer and remove old water softener and replace by new one). The price was right and the past service was a good indication of what they could do, so I gave the go ahead. They arrived on time, did the job, verified that all was ok, cleaned up after themselves and billed me the quoted amount. All was good, the service was polite and friendly and efficient. Can you ask for anything more?

We had several plumbing and heating concerns, so we asked around for a good service company and Knight came up in several places as the one to use. Our first service call was to winterize and tune up our furnace and gas hot water heater. We also had a set of taps replaced and had a chat about what looked like a leak from our water discharge pipe. We were given an appointment window and George called about ten minutes into the window to say he was on his way. He performed the service and the tap and scheduled a camera system to come to our house to check out the piping. Jason called and came within his scheduled window and looked at the leak and determined that it was coming from a cracked or broken pipe inside the house. He found the cracked pipe, but couldn't repair it since some heavy appliances had to be moved and he needed a second man to help. So, a third visit with a helper worked like a charm, the pipe was cut out and replaced, all appliances were put back in order and another set of taps were installed. Why only 4 stars? Because of the third visit and the higher cost this entailed. But, overall, a very positive experience and a highly recommended company.

From the moment we were in contact, to the meeting for measuring and quoting, to the installation, everything went as seamlessly as I had hoped. The process to get quotes, measurements and make choices about style and material and colour was very painless and very fast. The blinds were available for install when they were promised (4 weeks) and the installation went quickly and well. My wife and I are very happy that we chose Budget Blinds. They were not the cheapest, nor the most expensive quote we solicited, but they were the ones we knew would best deliver what we wanted. No reservations ... highly recommended.

Bruce and his lovely wife came and listened to our needs, helped us choose the right look and made sure that our needs were met. Because of the Christmas holidays and the fact that one of the doors was special order, we had to wait, but were kept well informed of the progress. Installation was fast, clean and efficient. A well appreciated follow up call was made to us to make sure everything was working fine and that we were still completely satisfied, and it was and we were. Highly recommended to all.

After the snow storms in Calgary, we had several trees that were damaged. We found it very difficult to find a proper tree service to handle the damage right after the storms. Turning Leaf was asked to quote on cleaning up the last of the damage and to prune back the 5 trees in our backyard. They came in at a great price, and followed up within days by delivering exactly what they had agreed to. Reasonable, quick, efficient and tidy just about sums it up for us in describing Turning Leaf.

I researched the top companies at Homestars and cross referred them to the BBB. United was one of the top three. After some back and forth, I decided to go ahead with them, even though they weren`t the lowest price. The work went very quickly, was done well and the site was fully cleaned. Highly recommended.
