We moved into an older home a couple of years ago, and there was clearly some water damage to the drywall and hardwood floor along one of the basement walls. After putting it off, we finally decided the remedy the problem this spring. We got quotes from several companies, and decided to go with MMT - they had a good price, and Mario was knowledgeable, low-pressure, and took the time to explain everything to us. Our job was a bit difficulty, because everything had to be dug by hand (in the small space between the house and the property line) but Mario's team was great. They arrived on time, put down tarps so everything in the yard stayed relatively clean, and did the work with care. And - most importantly - even after all of the rain this spring, our basement is dry! I can't recommend Mario and MMT more highly - he's everything you want in a contractor - reliable, reasonable, and does the job that was promised for the price quoted.

I contacted Valentin after reading all of the positive reviews on Homestars, and I was very happy that I did. My (very old) bathtub taps were dripping pretty consistently, and water was also dripping under the bathroom sink. I also had questions about some other plumbing in the house. Valentin was knowledgable, easy to deal with and provided good advice about what could be done now, what could wait until later, and how to prolong the lifespan of what we had. I had anticipated that my shower taps would need replacing and had been looking at possible replacement styles - and was pleasantly surprised to find that Valentin had brought exactly the style I was interested in with him. As a result, he was able to do the repairs immediately - and he did them at a reasonable price. It's really nice to be able to deal directly with a reliable tradesperson, instead of with some big company where you never know who is going to show up at your door. I'll be recommending him to all of my friends.
