Adam was the electrician for our recent gut renovation and he was fantastic. He was knowledgable, professional and just a pleasure to have in our home. He and his team did all of the electrical work during the renovation, and he came back after the fact for some finishing touches, including moving a chandelier and hooking up LED strip lighting on our bar. He is courteous, professional and knows what he is doing. We would recommend Adam and @ HomeElectric in a heartbeat.

We hired George to add a number of "finishing touches" to our recent full renovation: re-paint our kitchen, add shelves to all closets, add oak shelves to our kids' rooms and add an an oak door frame at our entrance. It ended up being a large scope of work but George did it quickly and with care. The kitchen looks refreshed and the price was great. The shelves throughout give a high end look to the rooms. The front door frame is a show stopper. We could not recommend George more!

We hired Jesse and his team to install new porch railings and post wraps during our complete gut renovation and could not be happier with the process and the result. Jesse came out to measure and quote the job and was extremely professional and informative with options. The price was excellent and we decided to proceed. Jesse was flexible on the timing of the installation and his admin team was communicative and helpful. The railings and posts were installed in one day, and look absolutely fantastic, and are of excellent quality. We plan to do our back deck in the coming years and will absolutely use Terrace Aluminum Railings again. We had numerous trades at our house during the renovation process and Terrace Aluminum Railings was one of the best, hands down.

To say Christine and her whole team are amazing is not saying enough. We could not have made it through our complete gut reno without her - she was the MPV of the entire project and we are so thankful that we found her. A shout out to her team Jan and Leah they are also amazing! At the design stage, Christine listened carefully to our vision for our home and translated that into beautifully selected finishing options, while being cognizant and respectful of our budget. She provided an extremely accurate finishings budget at an early stage - we had no clue what things cost but she did. She helped to keep us on track throughout by guiding us to splurge items versus things we could safely save money on, all while being conscious of her own time. Once construction began, Christine kicked it into high gear. She is so much more than a designer, she is a project manager who continuously advocated for us with our contractor, subtrades and vendors throughout. Christine is always asking how can I help? and she means it. She is not afraid to advocate on her clients behalf which took a lot of pressure off us in many stressful situations. Our project had numerous unforeseen issues and setbacks, and Christine was invariably the one keeping us calm, coming up with solutions, making calls and just keeping things moving in the right direction. Christine's motto is if its not right, its wrong and she truly means it. We had an issue with our wallpaper installation and Christine knew it could be better and had it removed and re-done. When our new fridge was damaged during delivery, Christine jumped into action and was on the phone with the manufacturer before I even knew what was happening, getting a solution in place which included a rental fridge for when we moved in. She is calm in stressful situations and knows how to motivate people to do their best work. From a construction perspective, Christine also provided much needed help with our HVAC and ceiling light layout, and provided renderings for built ins that helped us see our vison come to life. She understands how the day-to-day construction works and when we were coming up against tight timelines at the end, she made a list of all outstanding tasks and helped organize trades to ensure that we could move home on time. It is so clear that Christine cares about every project - she makes you feel like a friend, not simply a client, while also ensuring that the end result is exactly what it should be. She has found her calling in this business and I couldnt recommend her more. Alex & Joel

We hired Brand Insulation to inject airkrete insulation into the walls of our 100 year old home. We could not be more happy with the work they did. The crew was on time, professional and extremely quick and efficient. They got to work as soon as they arrived and worked the entire time they were at our house. They were completely done the outside portion in under 2 hours, and the entire job was done before 3pm. We have had contractors in our home many times over the past 2 years, and Brand's crew was hands down the most professional and polite. They did an excellent job cleaning up as well. We wanted to do some interior walls between the attached semi for soundproofing, and the crew was honest and told us that it would be much cheaper and just as effective to use cellulose for that portion instead of airkrete. That recommendation saved us $400 which we appreciated. Rough patching of the holes is included and we hired Serge (one of the crew members) to complete the patching to "paint ready". His price was very reasonable and he was very quick and done by the next afternoon. He did a great job patching the plaster walls as well. We would definitely recommend Brand Insulation - great job.
