I have been a customer from Direct Energy for years with their protection plan, paying almost 50.00 a month and supposed to have full protection (heating, AC and plumbing). This summer, after paying for AC protection for a long time, when AC faulted on me, they told me there was nothing they could do (AC too old). Why wouldn't they tell me this when I signed up or moved? I got a new AC from someone else but can't cancel the plan until 1 year anniversary of the plan. Yesterday, my furnace stopped working. Called them up, wasn't able to get a technician to come last night. It was very cold, with the temperature in the house getting to 15C. Today, technician came, said the motor or board were toasted but doesn't have the part on him. It MAY be they will have it tomorrow. In the meantime, my 3 kids and I will freeze in the house. Called their 1800 number, no compensation of any sort, no hotel voucher, nothing, except an apology. I find it unacceptable and won't recommend anyone to sign a maintenance plan with Enercare. Thank you...

Alex was recommended by my real state agent, who I know for several years and trust fully. He has over 10000 home inspections in his career, since 1988. Alex wasn't happy with the amount of time he was given to inspect the property by the current owners but did his best and did an amazing work. He went through the roof, attic, inside, outside, everything. He took over 100 pictures (sent all those electronically next day) and provided a detailed report indicating all concerns (none really major). I was able to get the current owners to fix a couple of things due to Alex's report. Totally recommended!!!

This company never delivered the service. They rescheduled visit three times, making me lose work days. Unprofessional, terrible customer service. Last time, showed up on moving company truck and took off while I was waiting in the porch. Service not delivered, credit card company investigating. I would NEVER trust them.

I moved to a house in September, 2010. New place was perfect except for the entry/front door, which was completely white without any glass. That bothered me a lot. I got quotes from 4 companies. I won't say ENTRY DOORS was the cheapest, because it wasn't, but the owner Alex came to my place and gave me confidence about their work. the price seemed fair after seeing the portfolio from alex and quality of their work. Of course, the reviews on Homestars helped me to decide as well. Alex was honest on how long it would take to get the door ready (around 5 weeks) and install it (close to 6 hours). Other companies told me they would replace the door in 2 weeks, having the actual contractor finish everything in less than 2 hours. Gabriel (installer) called me to arrange installation and showed up on time. Service was very good and end result was excelllent. Alex came to do final inspection. Highly recommended. Camilo
