I'm sitting at my computer in my beautiful finished basement as I write this review for True North. They were an absolutely essential first step to finishing space. The underpinning work finished this past summer and I have many great things to say about them and the process overall. - Hardworking friendly crew, clean, and were knowledgeable of many trades. - Daniel (Owner) is friendly, knowledgeable and was responsive to all of my questions. - The process overall was fascinating to watch as it progressed and at no point did I feel like my house was unsafe to live in while it was happening. It was a pleasure working with True North and it's amazing to think how worthwhile a basement renovation like this is from an investment perspective. Having a finished space adds tremendous value, not to mention practically you'll have a whole new floor of living space -- I love it. Okay back to watching my 75" basement TV. HTR Basements handled the basement finishing aspect of our renovation. And while our basement was small there were aspects of it that were certainly not simple. HTR provided us with an impressive 3d rendering of what our basement would look like well in advance of our start date, this required immense creativity because at the time our basement wasn't even underpinned (looked like a troll's dungeon). During the project, everything was smooth -- all the various trades people were pleasant, efficient and very hardworking. They finished in accordance with an online schedule that listed start and end dates for each trade. Their price was inline with my expectations (some of the prices I received from other companies were absolutely ridiculous for a basement of my size). Happy we hired HTR Basements - you will be too. Highly recommended. I will be hiring HTR for future projects around my home.

Quality Potlight replaced my old bulky inefficient lights with new flush LED potlights - they look great on my ceiling. Quality Potlight was affordable and efficient during the installation. They were also very clean, swept any dust and debris from the install - I appreciated this. I recommend Quality Potlight for work like this and any electrical type work for that matter.

Found John from Fos Electric by using the Jiffy on Demand app. He completes whatever electrical work I need done around my house as efficient as possible. John has become my go-to electrician - hopefully I can call on him for bigger jobs soon, ie. the electrical required in basement finishing. Stay Tuned!

Marco did a great job painting my front door. He was friendly, efficient and affordable - traits that are rare to find in contractors. Will call on Marco for future projects around my house. Highly recommended.

I hired Verona Tile this past summer to demo and retile my front entrance while I was away on vacation. When I came back all the work was done perfectly. I appreciate professional tradespeople who have a passion for the work they do (like Giulio at Verona Tile) because I know I can count on him for more work in the future.

A Plus Air Systems installed my tankless hot water heater. From the in-home consultation to the final installation they were clean, friendly and efficient. During the in-home consultation (before the install), the technician came by to measure and provided guidance on what the optimal location for the hot water tank would be. He worked with me to ensure that I was happy with the location and that (most importantly) it was technically feasible. The installers were great too, they were clean and courteous. I asked them dozens of questions related to the tankless system and they passionately answered them. I realized throughout all the work done to my house over the years, if the trades people are passionate about their work they will without a doubt do a great job - and this was 100% evident in all my interactions with everyone at A Plus Air Systems, they love what they do and the quality of their work reflects this

Fast, clean and affordable. The exact attributes you want in a service that hangs your TV and soundbar, hides all wires and provides a mount. Only thing I will say to people (this doesn't take away from the high quality work performed) GTA wiring does not do electrical so if you want your wires truly hidden (not have an extension cord on the floor) you'll need to hire an electrician. None the less, GTA wiring did a great job helping me to execute my vision perfectly. Recommended.
