We worked with Purple Properties Inc. to remodel our master bedroom ensuite. This was our second time working with Rowan on a project and couldn't be more happy with the experience. The project started with a couple of site visits to identify our vision, concerns, and pricing estimate. After signing the contract, Rowan had the foresight to schedule tile and fixture selections a few months ahead of the renovation start date due to current delivery delays (caused by COVID-19). This is an example of Rowan's excellent project management. He lined up all the trades efficiently and the renovation ended up completing a couple of weeks earlier. During the reno, all the tradespeople were very professional and respectful of our home. They made sure to clean up at the end of each day. Rowan made regular visits to review the status of the reno and to answer any questions we may have had. All our concerns were always quickly addressed and communication was never a problem. For this project, we did not get quotes from other contractors and have no regrets. We probably could have found a quote that was less, but after working with Rowan previously, his attention to detail, quality of service and easy communication is worth it. The reno was stress-free and we never had any doubt in the quality of the workmanship. We are very happy with the end product and would definitely recommend Purple Properties Inc.!

I contacted Master Kleen after reading their positive reviews. I was looking for a move-in clean, tile & grout cleaning and exterior windows. Bill responded shortly after I emailed them and was very easy to communicate with. He offered me excellent pricing and was able to work with my schedule on short notice. On the day of the cleaning, Bill arrived with his team and they worked very efficiently. The previous homeowners had not maintained the house that well so it really needed a deep clean. Bill even power steamed all the window tracks for us! There were a couple of areas that the team had missed in the kitchen and he was apologetic and offered to return to take care of it. Overall Bill and and his team did an excellent job! The house just felt so fresh and lighter afterwards! Highly recommend their cleaning services.

Before moving into our home, we wanted our entire house painted (2200 square feet, excluding basement). After reading many HomeStars reviews, I had sent out request for quotes to a few painters. Alex was the first to respond with a very competitive quote. He was very prompt in responding to my questions and made communication very easy. I hired Emerald Painting Service because Alex was able to work with my schedule and the positive reviews that mentioned his quality of his work. Once I accepted his quote, we did an onsite visit to review the job in detail and get a better idea of pricing. Our job involved painting walls, trims, doors, ceilings and exterior doors plus garage floor. Alex used a paint sprayer for the doors, trims and ceilings and this produced a beautiful finish. Our job also involved removing wallpaper, patching up a lot of nail holes (from the previous owner), patching up areas after our flooring renovation and taking down lots of shelving. As the project progressed, I would notice additional areas I wanted painted and Alex was very open and accommodating. The previous homeowner had used a lot of darker colours which was contrast to my palette of whites and light greys. Some of the rooms required 3 coats! Alex did an amazing job and I was very impressed with his attention to detail. He definitely exceeded my expectations! I would definitely use Emerald Painting Service again and would highly recommend their services.

Nortown Moving & Storage was recommended to us from a friend who had used them multiple times. Kris was very responsive from the beginning. He was able to do an in-home quote the next day after contacting him. This was much easier than trying to list items for a quote which some other moving companies requested. Kris provided a very competitive quote on the spot after the home walk through. On the day of the move, it was raining and made it quite challenging. The team handled it well and worked very efficiently. We were very satisfied with the work Nortown did and they helped ease the stress of moving. Highly recommend!

My husband and I had met with a few contractors, but Rowan Henry was the only one who presented us with a number of ideas and solutions for our backyard. It was refreshing to speak to a contractor who actually really listened to our needs and offered suggestions as to what we should do and how it would solve our issues. Our small backyard had a basic deck, no privacy, a catch basin and drainage issues that left our grass muddy and unsafe for our small children to use. Rowan presented us with a design that would fix our drainage issues, maximize every inch of our backyard and incorporate landscaping that was minimal, clean and effective. He was the only contractor who did this and we were confident in our decision to choose Creative Gardens. Due to the unusually rainy summer we had, our project started later than anticipated, but Rowan was always very responsive to any questions we had and kept us in the loop as to when our project would begin. When construction began, we had no complaints with the crew. They were hardworking, respectful, organized and cleaned up their work area at the end of each day. They never left an unnecessary mess on our property or the street. We even decided to do a bit of landscaping in our front yard last minute and they were able to accommodate that as well. We LOVE the transformation to our backyard and the improvement to our front yard. We couldn’t be happier with the experience we had and have even started recommending Creative Gardens to our friends. Rowan made the experience easy and stress-free. He is dedicated to producing quality and works hard to maintaining this high standard of work. We look forward to working with Rowan again in the near future!
