    New garage door

    We are a valued customer of Brock.All windows and patio door have been purchased and installed by Brock.Superb work.Decided to continue this loyalty with the purchase of a new garage door.Sales quote on August 6,measurements on August 29,installation on October 8,capping on November 2 followed by a return visit week or so later to re-install the control panel.Phoned several times to find out why the long waits between phases.Was told at one point I was not on the schedule for one of the stages.Complained several times to salesperson who was sympathetic.For all my inconvenience as a valued and loyal customer,some manager at Head Office in their wisdom,sent me an awesome gift certificate for $25 at a restaurant!Left him a message indicating this was an insult.

    Sliding Door

    Great experience with Brock from start to finish. Theyir sales person was extremely knowledgeable, and explained everything very clearly. Being a new homeowner, this was much appreciated. The installers were kind, courteous, and very efficient. They protected my carpet very well, even though it was raining that day. I will definitely approach Brock again in the future for glass, door, or window needs

    Total house window and garage door replacement

    The workers from Brock were friendly and efficient. I've already noticed that the heater isn't on as often due to of the efficiency of the new windows. We're ready for winter!

    New windows/doors for entire house

    Excellent service and product from sales to installation. Dave spent alot of time and effort getting our order with several rounds of changes - very helpful providing additional materials and samples. Installation was top notch - Mykola and crew did an excellent job with thorough cleanup every day. The only issue was that a couple of windows were ordered incorrectly - this was quickly rectified though.

    Eight new windows

    From my first contact with Brock Doors and Windows to arrange an estimate, to Walter coming to provide window options and estimate, to Stefan and his team, I was completely satisfied. Stefan and his team worked well and efficiently. They were polite and cleaned up when the work was done. The windows look great!

    patio doors windows

    Thank you Stefan and your team for the great job you did with the installation. The work was done efficiently and they were done in a few hours with very little interruption. They were very polite and professional, they did a great job- thanks again

    Front door & sidelights (whole frame)

    After hearing many good comments about Brock, and seeing their ads, I felt confident they would be experienced. I was looking for quality, not a cheap bargain. Michael, from the Scarborough store was our salesperson & service advisor. He was very friendly, took all the time we needed to patiently answer our questions, and had a lot of practical advice. One installation day came, the crew was quick, thoroughly professional and obviously experienced. The new door (including in-door glass & sidelights) looks great, has no significant energy leaks and operates a lot more smoothly than the old one - they clearly got it aligned and hung perfectly. We are very pleased with the whole experience, and highly recommend Brock!

    Excellent Service

    Brock Windows and Doors installed 2 doors (side and front) for us. We had a glass screen door installed over our front door so our dog could look out. Over the first summer the sun created such intense heat that the rim around the steel door got damaged. We told Brock about our concern and they replaced the glass with a special mess and we have had no problems since. Their service has been excellent, very willing to correct the situation. Now I am back to loving my door. Thank you Jim, Nick and Jennifer

    Clean Professional Installation of New Windows & Patio Door

    Brock Windows is a solid company. We are happy with the installation service. They use NorthStar windows which have been excellent so far (11 months). My wife and I went to the Brampton showroom where we received excellent service from Rob who walked us through a series of options explaining the pros and cons of each. We compared the quote against three other companies and Brock was the most affordable. Scheduling can be challenging as they are quite busy (usually 4-8 weeks). The installation team (3 people) was on time, courteous and led by an experienced installer. One word of caution: in talking to the team lead, it seems there is a high turnover rate in the installer business, so often there are inexperienced members on each team. Our team was no exception. There was one member of the team who was clearly brand new, and needed detail instruction for each task. I don't mind someone learning a new skill as long as they are appropriately supervised - which he was. But other clients may not feel the same way. So best to ask for an experienced team if you have concerns, and you may need to wait a bit longer to get them scheduled. Finally, these teams are installers and not craftsmen. I'm not trying to denigrate their skills - they are really good at ripping out the old windows, prepping the frame, installing the new window and external cladding. But when it comes to the interior, the "fit and finish" is at a base 'builder' level, not a craftperson-level. By which I mean that the mudding, taping, trim work etc. is only ok. If you like straight lines and clean crisp edges, you will need to do that yourself or hire someone with that skill set. Overall, it's been almost a year and the windows/patio door look great. The house is much warmer. There are no drafts around any of frames. We are happy.

That being said, our installation teams are all led by highly trained, well equipped craftspersons. They have installers under them, who while being supervised are directed and expected to do a high quality, top-notch job, just the same as the head installers. We always promote future growth, and if you feel anything is below our standards we'd be more than happy to come out and take a look at your project firsthand. We always advise our clients to have their trim work, caulking, capping etc. done by a trained professional, unless our clients are skilled in this trade we wouldn't advise DIY. Brock leads teams of professional craftspeople who are equipped with the skill set to perform this type work. That being said, we're glad you're pleased with the outcome of your project and that you've noticed an increase in warmth within your home.     2nd Service Appointment - 3rd Service Appointment no show again

    In December, we reached out to Reputation Manager - Steavi. She was extremely helpful and professional, she truly cared about the company as well as the customers. We could tell that she was passionate about her job and wanted to make sure that all customer issues were taken care of and properly addressed. We are happy to update our review on Homestars to reflect the fact that a resolution was reached in our case. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Steavi again for her assistance in resolving our issue. After our last week's review, Brock's Service Manager called us Monday morning apologizing for their missed appointment. We didn't get an explanation as to what happened... Brock apologized for their installer's no show, but right away re-scheduled for today Saturday Dec 3 between 9am and 9:30am. Again we were ready by 9am, and now I am sitting here at 3pm writing another review for ANOTHER NO SHOW. No show...and no phone calls. We would really hate to think that now that Brock has taken our money, customer service is no longer their priority. We gave them the benefit of the doubt last weekend, but another no show this weekend is completely ridiculous! Time is precious these days, especially now that we are approaching Christmas. We all have things to do. Brock's time is money and so is our time! If you are reading this review as a consumer, we really do hope if you decide to have Brock install your windows, you better pray everything is done right the first time. We would hate for someone else to go through the same awful experience. We chose Brock because of the reviews we read on HomeStars. We had replaced all the windows in the house in Oct 2016. The installation went pretty smooth except for two frosted windows we paid for but never got because Brock had messed up the order. I called Brock right away and was told that because this was their error, they would put a rush on the order and have the replacement windows made right away in a week's time and that they would call me to let me know the status. Two weeks later, I was still waiting for the call. I called them back and was told they were too busy but would get back to me right away. Finally, I managed to get an appointment on a weekend because I wasn't going to take another day off work for an error they made. I booked a Saturday appointment for today Nov 26, was told the contractor would be here between 8:30am to 10am. Yesterday, I even called Brock to confirm my appointment and was told everything was good to go. This morning, we got up early and were ready by 8:30am. 10am...no one showed up. I called Brock at 10:08am, the person I talked to took down my name, my phone number and my address, telling me she would get the installer to call me back. 11am...no phone call. So I called Brock back again, spoke to a different person, but this time I asked to speak to a manager. I was told there was no manager around but again, the lady took down my name and my phone number, reassuring me that someone would call me back today. I expressed my frustration, that I had even confirmed the appointment the day before, got up early on a Saturday morning for this service appointment and no one showed up and not even a phone call. What is going on?? It is now 10pm, there had been no calls or messages from Brock. This is totally unacceptable.
