Chimney cleaning and stack repair
Excellent friendly service. They cleaned both my fireplaces and reinstalled a cap which had blown off one of the stacks. I was given their name from another home owner who had also had a positive experience.

Chimney cleaning and Cap mesh installation
The people at A1 took really good care of us. The first tech was unable to install the mesh on our chimney cap (didn't have a tall enough ladder). However, he did a good job with the cleaning of our chimney and fireplace. When we followed up for the mesh installation, A1 were apologetic for the delay and sent Owen out quickly to handle it. The mesh was installed, the cap replaced and secured with our complete confidence. Thanks so much. Would absolutely recommend.

Wood Burning Fireplace Inspection and Cleaning
A1 Quality Chimney Cleaning & Repair was recommended to us by a friend of mine and we couldn't possibly be more happier with the experience. The staff at the office were polite and professional (even thought it's into their busy season now), and the tech that came out, Owen, was excellent and extremely knowledgable. He let us know in great detail what work was required and the reason for each step of the process. It was like going to fireplace school! He returned a few days later with the necessary parts and completed some minor repairs that were needed (some in a very cramped attic). He even returned a third day to do some work on the roof that couldn't be done in the rain. A truly enjoyable experience from beginning to end!

Excellent across the board
A cold call to Aaron, from a website, and they set us up for a chimney cleaning, with an on the spot quote. Technician Tony gave us a call apologizing he'd be 15 minutes late, arrived before 15 minutes, and did a terrific job of cleaning a very sooty chimney, and keeping everything spotless. Afterwards we noticed a bracket to anchor the chimney pop-top had gone missing (it had come loose). When I brought it to their attention, Kelley from the office actually dropped off a spare they had at the office, no charge, on his way home. The final cost plus HST was exactly what they had quoted for cleaning and inspection. It has been quite awhile since we have had this kind of kindness, sensitivity and care. Everyone was so helpful and considerate at every step. Be sure we will be putting them in our annual contact list, a and recommending them to anyone who needs their flues spruced up! Thank you Aaron, Tony and Kelley!

Chimney repair
I just had a chimney repair done with A1-Quality Chimney, James and Mike are truly very experienced workers. The job was excellent and amazing from start to finish, highly, highly recommend this company 100percent. Robert explained everything that needed to be done. They contacted me within 24 hours of my request for a quote after contacting 7 different companies. Thanks again for the fantastic job.

Inspection needed ASAP
Needed someone to complete an inspection of our fireplace in order to close out the conditions on our house sale. Owen came after hours and had to climb through the rafters to do a thorough inspection. Incredibly knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend A1!

Chimney Rebuild
Our 40 year old brick chimney was falling apart. We had estimates from 7 different companies giving us various different opinions on the "fix". Bob took the time to carefully explain why we needed the work and explained the root cause of our issue. His work solution, although more than some of the other estimates, was correct. As we dismantled the chimney the lower bricks just crumbled (other companies said they looked "fine"). Mike and James were efficient and very professional. Amazing service, a high quality job and most importantly what seems to be the right job. 2 after images, 3 before

Chimney Tile and Cap Installation
Owen and the entire team at A1 Quality and Chimney went above and beyond in helping me put a cap on my chimney. They sent a technician over late on a Friday night through bad weather when I first called, and they followed up several times to ensure the job was completed as soon as the weather allowed. I couldn't recommend them any more.

Flue repair on our old two story house - Top notch service!
Odene, a service technician from A1 Quality Chimney Cleaning & Repair, just left our home. He was here to seal cracks around our fireplace flue today. Odene was as professional and personable as they come. We couldn't be happier.

Excellence is What You Get with A-1 Quality Chimney
3 fireplaces and chimneys cleaned (2 unblocked) and inspected with immaculate service, promptly and at our convenience. Owen and his staff are expert, polite and pleasant. Owen later shared his expertise and knowledge generously when an unusual issue arose with one of our fireplaces and provided a practical solution to boot. These people are Professionals all the way. They have the most appropriate name for their company. We don't see how anyone could ever regret choosing them.
