    Hardwood Flooring

    It was time to rip out all our carpet and replace it with hardwood flooring and we chose to work with Alliance Flooring Inc. The company stocks a wide range of products and the customer service is excellent; with a job of this scale we had lots of questions and the owner, his wife, and staff could not do enough to answer all our questions in a timely manner to ensure we found just the right floor. We were happy to be able to source a Canadian made product, (Mercier Flooring) manufactured in Quebec, that is of very high quality. The turnaround time on the order was less than 5 days and the product is beautiful!! Everyone we've dealt with at Alliance is knowledgeable about the products, courteous, and extremely professional. We highly recommend them and would definitely do business with them again in the future. Thanks Alliance!!

    Small condo- all floors

    Fast, efficient, friendly. When the flooring we chose originally was not available immediately, we picked another better one, got it at the same price and had it installed right away with no extra wait! Very happy

    Living room carpet including stairs

    From sales to installation everyone was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We didn't feel any pressure, but rather felt comfortable to take our time making our carpet choice. The price was extremely competitive. The installation was done at our convenience. And what a fabulous job! The whole experience was a pleasure. Thank you! We are delighted with our new living room.

    hardwoodfloor

    Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. They were very helpful in narrowing down the right Canadian hardwood floor . The price and the service was good. Very happy that we dealt with Alliance and I have already recommended them to my friend who just purchased an engineered hardwood from them .I highly recommend Alliance. You won't be disappointed.

    Flooring replacement

    Mike was able to come the next day for an estimate on my project, provided a realistic quote and suggestions on how to minimize our cost. Upon deciding to go with Alliance for our project, Timea was extremely helpful with trying to set up a date and schedule to accommodate the busy service elevator availability at our condo, and the job ended up being completed in the following two days. Peter worked very efficiently and carefully, doing a great job and left the room clean. Overall, we were greatly impressed with the great service and quality of the work provided. Will definitely contact them again for future projects!

    Floor for my Basement

    I was looking for an affordable floor for my basement, and I got to visit the showroom in Alliance and I found a great variety of laminate floors there, but what liked me more was the great attention and customer service . I got technical information and tips in how to install the floor properly since I was doing the installation by myself in first time. They really know about the business ... 10 of 10 ,,,Thanks

    Staircase carpet installation

    We had a few issues after the carpet was installed on the staircase. First was gripper nails sticking out so that I hurt my toes a few times when I stepped on it. The company sent an installer (different from who installed the carpet in the first place) so he just hammered down the nails. After his visit a few of steps began to squeak. Probably something got dislodged under the carpet after hammering. We complained about this problem. Mike visited us to inspect the issue. His verdict was that we have old stair case and we just have to live with it, so they wouldn't fix it. My issue with this verdict is that we never had squeaking problem, even with the old carpet and certainly wouldn't expect it with the new carpet. I realize that it's a small project for them, but even small projects have to be finished professionally.

    Hello, Thank you for your time in writing this review. It is unfortunate that you are not satisfied with your experience with our carpet installation. However I must point out that there was no possible way for our carpet installation over your stairs would have caused squeaking. This is akin to claiming that a carpet installation over a squeaky floor is the direct result of the carpet install. The underlying issues are with the construction and age of the stair case. Over time, adhesives and fasteners can come loose and create squeaks. This must have been the case under normal use (it could be as simple as someone trotting down the stairs), or from the normal methods of hammering the gripper edge in place. We suggest(ed) talking to a stair specialist before coming to conclusions that it must have been the installers fault. We took care of an issue for you within our warranty but how can we be expected to warranty workmanship from decades in the past by other trades. We look forward to providing each and every one of our customers with exceptional service and feel like we have satisfied any reasonable expectation with this project. Thank you, Mike

    All good here

    I walked in and dealt with Mike. Picked out my product, we agreed on a price we were both happy with, I paid my deposit and received my product in a week-ish. Easy peasy everybody happy!

    Floor sanding, staining and finishing

    We needed a specific colour match be done, and Alliance was very diligent in getting the match perfect. They came on-site to take a sample and performed a very good match.
