Overall, I found the staff to be friendly, helpful and available. They were patient as I was making my choices, answered all of my questions, and provided service as quickly as they were able. I found it to be a good, solid job at a reasonable price.

I've had about 3 contractors bail out on this job because of the complexity of the corners, angles, and the just overall shape of the home. I was then referred by a friend Jodi couple of floors below mine to use Alliance. I went to their shop, found the laminate flooring I wanted, and they recommended me to use the QuietMax underlay which meets my building code. They were even professional enough to have this form in which they will warrant your floors if the proper procedures were done. 1. Ripped up the carpet, then they measured temperature, and leveling. 2. Then used concrete or some sort of filling to fill up so that floor was straight and even. 3. They waited for it to dry for about 2-3 days, then started the laminate flooring. They finished in less than 2 days, let me inspect it, then cleaned up. It was flawless, I even stepped on every single area of the laminate flooring so that it doesn't "squish" downwards and it was hard like hardwood floor which is exactly what I wanted. Although during this process, one of their workers scratched up my washer as they needed to move it out of the way (I take half the fault). I explained to the owner Lehel the situation, and his worker did admit it (which I appreciate the honesty a lot, you don't get this often) and they were going to pay for it to get it fixed. Since they aren't specialized in this, and don't want to do a poor job in fixing the scratch, they asked me to hire someone and they will pay for it which Lehel sent me a cheque 3 business days later. So these guys are not only great workers, but honest business owners as well. They really do take care, and one of the most important thing is that they answer their phones. Even though I am probably a nightmare client, and call them like 5 times a day wondering about status, they were always patient with me and worked with me through this process. On Saturday we sat down and agreed on the cost according to my measurements, on Monday an istaller took measuerements, on Tuesday I agreed on the final estimation and price(very good one), on Thursday the installer came back to prepare the site for installation, on Friday another installer came, worked 11 hours and finished the job, Fast, affordable, reliable, EXCELENT.

We have a 100-year-old home that had the original hardwood floors, which were in pretty bad shape. We researched a number of companies and visited several showrooms before settling on Alliance to replace our floors. Lehel and Susan spent hours answering our many questions, sent an installer to our home twice to give us advice before we entered into a contract with them, and allowed us to borrow wood samples to test in our home. We're extremely pleased with the final product and with Alliance's ability to do this work efficiently on short notice and in a short timeframe. Our only negative comment would be that Lehel and Susan hire contractors/subcontractors to do the work, and it seemed that this led to a number of miscommunications amongst the various players. Also, the crew's clean-up job fell quite short of what we had hoped - the dust and dirt took hours to clean, and the installers left old pieces of trim and extra wood in various places around our house (closets, backyard). Having said that, we do feel that whenever concerns were raised with Lehel, he took steps to correct them. Overall, we're pleased with Alliance and would recommend them for hardwood floor installation.

Given my lack of knowledge about hardwood floors, I was pretty apprehensive about the whole process of installing new hardwood in the upstairs and on the stairs of my new house. But both Susan and Lehel made me feel comfortable and at ease the moment I stepped in the door. You don't feel like you're dealing with a company. They feel like family. They do everything in their power to not only educate, but make sure that you're comfortable with your choices. I priced a lot of flooring companies before coming to a decision and going with Alliance. While there were cheaper estimates out there, none of those companies could even come close to matching Alliance's customer service. I was on a very tight deadline before I moved into my house and I needed everything in place before the big day. Lehel made sure his guys repaired my sub floor, installed my floors upstairs and finished the stairs in a total of five days. After everything was finished, he called not only once but three times to make sure I was satisfied with the job. When I pointed out one minor problem, he sent his guys over the next day to fix it. It took five minutes and they left. I would definitely recommend Alliance Flooring to anyone.

We dealt with Susan at the store, and she made recommendations to what products would work best in our application. We were very happy with the whole experience and our flooring has been getting great reviews from all our friends & family. The thing that is most important to me is when a company books an appointment to have the work done & lives up to that commitment. Alliance Floor Source did all that. I would recommend them to anyone who wants a professional job done right the first time and without any problems.

Lehel and Susan were a pleasure to deal with. From arranging the estimate, installation and finishing - it all went smooth. We are very happy with our on-site finished floors. Lehel was very knowledgeable in providing information about the differences between on-site finished hardwood and pre-finished hardwood and we're more than pleased with how beautiful and smooth our floors turned out. Their installers were on time, friendly and trustworthy. I had no problem leaving them a key to complete the week long job. Thank you for a great job well done! Pre-installation: Dealing with Lehel and Susan was a breeze! They were professional, very knowledgeable, and displayed no pressure sales tactics as we were making our decisions, which was very much appreciated. Lehel is a pretty funny guy too! Installation: At the last minute and to accommodate the painter, Lehel demonstrated great flexibility and agreed to a change in the installation dates. There was an approx. 1-week delay in the completion of installation (i.e. baseboards, doors); however, once completed, the floors looked great including the carpeting. Post-installation: We uncovered a billing error, called Susan and she immediately corrected it without a hassle which was great. We were disappointed with an additional charge for the cutting of the doors; it was not included in the written contract which was our oversight, but we clearly remember it being discussed in the pre-installation. Couple of regrets: #1) Lehel had forewarned us about not getting the cement floors perfectly levelled; to save on cost, we opted to not get them done and regret it now. The hardwood flooring is already showing some gaps because of the uneven base. #2) Be sure to think long and hard about dark hardwood; it looks amazing when clean, but shows EVERYTHING and needs daily attention! All considered, we would highly recommend Alliance Flooring and wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future. Thanks Lehel and Susan!

I have hardware and laminate floor installed by Alliance Floor Source this summer. Susan is a very pleasant sales/marketing lady to work with. She has good sense of color coordination and good knowledge of different floor material. And she is very patient and understanding. She is very helpful. I am very impressed by the professional way Lahel has shown from site visiting prior to the sale, after the sale and installation management. I appreciated that he took the time to discuss my concern and make recommendations suitable to my house situation. He showed his caring when there is concern and addressed it to my satisfaction. The people laid the floor were courteous and the workmanship is very good. Highly recommended.
