When we bought our first house, we realized that the whole first floor needed a lot of work just to be livable. It was a flip job gone wrong, and the previous owner made more work for us than if he'd just left it alone. A lot of things needed to be fixed, changed and updated. The Jerry was just the man for the job. He looked at the house, and got back to us promptly with a quote that was reasonable and fair. He had no issue with any of the requests that were made of him- when I suddenly thought up the idea for a skylight to replace the window we'd covered up, it was no problem- I got it, he installed it. He came up with solutions for every roadblock- and there were a bunch. We were able to move in on time, on budget, and the place looks great.

Ours was not a big job and our budget was limited but we were in dire need of immediate repairs to our bathroom. Unlike other companies who were only interested in doing full renovations, Jerry Shaban kindly came to our home, assessed our need and offered suggestions on how he could help. Within a week he had provided a written quotation and details of the work to be done. After considering several other reputable companies, we're glad that we settled on Bathroom Specialists! Jerry was prompt, courteous, a man of integrity and an expert in helping us to achieve our anticipated goal. On budget, on time. We're very pleased!

Jerry recently completed a renovation of our main bathroom. He completed the work on budget, and although the work a bit late (5 days), it was worth the wait. We love our improved bathroom and the effort the Jerry put into making in perfect for us. Jerry was very responsive to our needs and concerns, which he addressed immediately and without question. Jerry showed up on time, was very clean and reliable. We've already got him doing more work for us.

He promised the job would take 2 weeks, it's now near the end of week 7 and it's still not done. He has just told me that the next two days he'll be at another job. Which is what prompt me in writting this review. CAUTION don't even think about hiring Jerry unless you specify timing in contract with penelties for not meeting quotas. Many companies do this, they can promise the world but tell them to put their money where their mouth is. During this project Jerry spent a lot of time doing another job which is why our job is so behind. During a two week period I calculated about 10 hours of work being done. So basically he did one days work over a 2 week time frame. It has been very slow going and even after talking to Jerry about it he has still been putting in many 2 and 4 hour days. He has worked a few weekends but only because he puts in half the hours during the week. I've done renos and know what it takes and how long it takes to complete certain tasks and Jerry has fallen short. As for the actual work it's not bad, I'm happy with the way it's coming out which is why the rating is not lower. Jerry has a very relaxed attitude and will work to your design specs which is important but not enough to get the job done right and on time.

This was my first major renovation. Jerry was open and honest and up-front with all his documentation. When the job started he was always within reach and kept me posted with all the work being done and any unforseen problems that arose. He was a wonderful contractor to work with and I would definitly use him again.

This was my first renovation and I choose Jerry after meeting with several contractors. I was nervous from all the horror stories I had heard about contractors. Jerry was at my door at 8:00 am on the day the job was to start and was on time every day from then on in. He clearly knows how to renovate a bathroom—from building new walls to plumbing to ductwork and tiling—and how to handle any of the surprises that tend to pop up in these types of jobs. He remains in constant communication and does a great job. I would hire him again.

A Renovator you can trust. Jerry is honest and provides excellent service (picked up tub and toilet). Jerry did a very good job on renovating a small bathroom in my condo located in a century old building. The precision and care taken with the tile work shows extremely well and the tiler Jerry used was great - "old school work ethic". Jerry was able to work out things when we hit a few un-anticipated "glitches". I received reports on how conscientious Jerry was in respecting the cleanliness and quiet of other owners in the building while working. I would not hesitate in recommending Jerry to others and I already have!

Jerry is a well-versed renovator. Honest and reliable.He finish the project on time. Prices are reasonable. His workmanship is excellent, tidy and neat with a guarantee. I would defenietly reuse Jerry's services.

Jerry lept tall orders to transform our three outdated 1950s-style bathrooms into gorgeous, modern showpieces. Our bathrooms were so beautiful that we proudly showed guests our bathrooms before any other room in our house! There are not enough words to describe our high regard for Jerry's work. He must have a keen eye for design because he somehow figured out how the ugly configuration of our old bathrooms could be redesigned into amazing, chic salles de bain! Jerry's design and workmanship included a special finesse that we believe no other bathroom renovator could have provided. Following Jerry's renovation, we had our house reassessed at $150,000 more than we purchased it for a year earlier and we eventually sold our home at an even greater profit. Not only did Jerry add beauty to our home, but he increased its value far beyond the cost of the renovations. We would recommend Jerry and his Bathroom Specialists to anyone.

A few years ago we bought an old home with a tiny, inefficient, out-of-the-way kitchen on the side of the house. Jerry took a look at our kitchen and came up with an amazing cost-efficient plan. The result was a fantastic design that made incredible use of the existing space, opened up our kitchen to the front livingroom / diningroom and made our home the envy of the street! Jerry's solution was simple but brilliant. He knocked down a non-supporting wall that separated the kitchen from the front livingroom / diningroom. Replacing all of the old 1950s-style cabinetry and fixtures with new, high quality materials, he installed state-of-the-art light maple cabinets, granite countertops, terra cotta tiled floors, tumble marble backsplash and pot lights. Jerry's workmanship was stunning and our kitchen looked like something out of Home and Garden magazine! We never dreamed it would look so good. Jerry literally transformed our kitchen from a cursory artery to the heart of our home. Our kitchen became the focal point for all of our family activities and for all our entertaining of guests. We are totally grateful to Jerry. If we ever need any other work done, he will be the first and only contractor we will call.
