Like many of our neighbours we had major wind damage to our old roof after a Jan wind storm. Alex had service techs out right away and took care of us. They were able to get a crew out right away to replace the old roof in 2 days, you would never know they were there except for the new roof.We would recommend them highly.They have now installed roofs on 3 of our homes and service has been exceptional everytime

UPDATE FROM EARLIER REVIEW: Contracted company in October; new shingles installed within time frame promised (mid Nov). Work was fast and clean up was very good. Two windstorms resulted in missing shingles and rows of shingles blowing up to vertical. Initial response from company next day; replaced shingles and applied caulking to loose shingles. Said "All in good shape." Same day, high winds and more shingles rising. No other housess within several blocks had a problem. Company sent someone two days later, more checking, more shingles caulked, "everything looks OK." More high winds, same problem. Called company but this time it took almost two weeks to respond. Once it did however, came back twice to correct situation with Warranty Manager finally checking all shingles and applying caulking. He also checked back two months later and visually inspected interior of attic to ensure no problem. No problems or leaks to date but each heavy rain or wind has us checking. My advice, after finding this is a not uncommon occurrence, have roof shingled in warm weather unless contractor applies additional adhesive.

In the past rainstorm I noticed water coming in our bedroom. I was alarmed and called the roofing company that originaly installed the roof,they were out of bussiness. Alarmed I called Cherry and Clark service. The very next day a service provider Steven Onstad arrived at our house. We were very upset and wondered how bad the problem was,Steve was very calming and said he would find the issue and correct it. One hour later he was done and since then, no more leak. Very skilled,polite and fast service.

We had our roof replaced and we had to call them far too many times and chase them around to get any information after we had already paid the deposit. Shingles were on back order which was never told to us so it took forever to get it done and it was snowing by the time they were ready. We didn't feel that we should have to make 10 phone calls and make a complaing just to have our calls returned. This makes us worry that if there is ever a problem, will they be around then?

Paul came out to quote in 3 days and was very helpfull and honest about our roof replacement. Then in 2 weeks as promised we had a new roof with no issues. Great clean up just what we expected!! Price was a little higher than other quotes but we felt it was wise to buy from a company that has been around for the past 36 years.

In the course of having a roof redone, Cherry and Clark replaced our existing skylight with an Aluplex skylight. I thought the price quoted was too high, but was told that the replacement would be of better quality - triple E argon glass. Instead they popped in a plastic dome skylight virtually identical to our old one. I said that I would not pay for this part of the job until we received what was promised. A few days later they came and took the plastic dome out and replaced it with glass. We noticed that only two of five holding screws for the opening mechanism had been installed and when the inspector who identified himself as being from Home Depot came, he installed the missing screws and gave us a $30 gift card for Home Depot to compensate for the black caulking that had been smeared on the oak trim of the skylight box. I subsequently noticed that five screws were missing from the inside trim of the skylight. These I installed myself rather than wait until someone from Cherry and Clark called me back (I have not had much luck with being called back by these folks). Now the kicker - when the weather turned cold for a day or two last week, the wind blew freely through the skylight trim. It is now a week since I phoned Cherry and Clark to complain - no return call. Incidentally, when you hire Home Depot to do a roofing related job - Cherry and Clark does it.

Roofers were great really nice people, did a fast job very efficient. No mess excellent work family owned. Price is a bit pricy but good job was done.
